District One — Local services in New York

District One is my new go to place to sell and cop kicks! They have really great prices and also pay well for kicks as they follow the market. I’ve done business with them twice now since I’m unloading my collection to pay for medical bills, and each time, I felt they gave me the best value over GOAT or StockX and they’re paying cash instead of store credit like Laced Up and Round Two are doing right now. The only drawback is that if you have a lot of kicks to unload, they’re only doing half cash and half check at the moment, so if you don’t have a bank account, then you won’t be able to cash the check because they don’t have a landline phone number printed on the check or a phone number that can be answered quickly. I tried cashing one of their checks because I needed the money that day, and the check cashing places wouldn’t do it without a phone number printed on the check, so I had to deposit it and wait almost 4 days for the check to clear. Other than that issue; however, I would whole heartedly recommend this store and will continue selling them my kicks as well as copping some heat! I hope they start carrying streetwear too, so I can give them ALL my business. Go cop with District One…you won’t be...

I discovered the District One NY store on eBay and learned they also have online store of the same name as well. I have purchased 5 pairs of sneakers via the eBay store so far. Each time the service has been great. They shipped out the sneakers super fast to eBay's authentication program each time. The sneakers arrived in the expected new condition every time. The prices were fair compared to market value.

As someone who wears a size 14, they offer a wide variety of selection from Jordan's, Travis Scott's, New Balance, Saucony, Asic's, Nike and everything in between. My experience with them has been top notch each time. Checking out the online store outside of eBay, it's super easy to see the inventory available in my size. I haven't ordered anything online so I can't comment on that experience yet but based on my experience via the eBay store, I'm sure I would have a pleasant experience purchasing directly via here as well. I do plan on purchasing from the online store in the future so I will update this review based on that experience.

Overall a great sneaker purchasing experience. I would recommend purchasing from District One NY. I will for sure continue to purchase from them...

Today I brought in two shoes to sell, a Travis Scott Fragment low and off white presto, iv done business with district 1 plenty and it’s always been smooth, but today some guy with glasses and a hat opens my box of Travis, barely inspects my shoes, looks at the wrapping paper and says bro these are no good!!!? Me knowing they are 100000% authentic I looked at him as if he didn’t know what he was doing, he then proceeded to check my prestos and said yeah these are no good either, in my mind this guy had no clue what he was doing because I immediately drove to Flight Club and had them checked by Dave the authenticator there which he confirmed they were 100000% authentic, drove to Laced Up and they confirmed they were authentic and took my business there. I never write reviews but cmon don’t sit there thinking you know what you’re doing if you don’t, if you can’t even tell a real sneaker how are you able to tell a fake. People spend big money in your store, let’s do the right thing by having the proper people...
