Denys and Antonina helped us prepare for our wedding dance, and we couldn’t be happier. Each one was an excellent teacher-each dance step was broken down into digestible chunks and repeated until our muscle memory took over. In addition, they relied on analogies to help us understand the movements, and then made multiple recordings of our sessions from different angles so that we could practice at home.

Our choreography was based on a YouTube video, which they graciously modified to our abilities and to our pressing deadline. Denys broke down our dance into three parts with the goal of learning two of the parts and only the third one if we made good on time. That way, we could have a complete choreography by our wedding date but still be able to add to it when we were learning it well.

Although the dance we chose was a bit complicated for beginners, by the third session we were pretty much ready. We added two more sessions to get extra practice. They also gave helpful tips with hand movements and flourishes with the bride’s dress-little details that made us look better.

We highly recommend DNA Dance Academy whether you’re just trying to learn a wedding dance or interested in taking it up. Most days we showed up, they were helping competitive dancers with their auditions/competitions, so they can teach and train anyone from newbies like us to aspiring...

My daughter has been taking dance lessons from Denys and Antonina for more than 3 years. She has taken lesson in person and on Zoom, remotely. Nobody teaches like Denys and Antonina. They are, hands down, the very best dance instructors you can find anywhere. Even on Zoom - the lesson feels like they are in the room with the child helping them improve. It's quite amazing because usually it's hard to find a good dance teacher remotely. My daughter started as an intermediate dancer and now she competes at a much higher level, thanks to Denys and Antonina.

Denys and Antonina are also amazing choreographers. They choreographed an audition piece for my daughter that she used for competitions and also used it to apply to a special high school (which she got into!). They have also worked with my daughter to help her become more musical and really develop a passion for dance that she was missing before.

I highly recommend them to anyone, adults looking to get started, beginning children, and competitive kids. You won't regret taking lessons...

I had the most amazing experience learning ballroom dance with Denys and Antonina for my upcoming wedding. My husband and I are not dancers and were nervous to try dancing, but Denys and Antonina made the experience incredibly fun and even easy. Denys has a way of simplifying complex moves and making them accessible to even the most novice, awkward learner. My husband and I looked forward to our lessons and loved getting to know Denys and Antonina, who are also lovely, kind people. I also had to learn Bollywood dance for my wedding, and Denys was able to teach me moves in a completely different style to ballroom dancing.
