I went yesterday, and it seemed more like a concert than a service (very nice concert) I told them it was the first time and they only gave me a brochure with 'the service schedule'. They had no hymnbook and the booklet's chants were a bit confusing to read. The preaching was very pretty. They talked about the commandment of love, but at the end of the service there was no one to talk to, everyone was focused on themselves. The worse thing for me is that they have no service in the afternoon, but they do have it for worldly events. Sad to see that among your priorities is not to sanctify the Lord's day. Read moreSpot on. Welcoming! Interesting music - classical instruments (9:30 and 11:30 are classical, 5pm is jazz). Excellent, old, theologically rich hymns were sung. Sermon was on Acts 2:40-47, it was decent but not really expository. It was a communion service, and this was done properly. I think the parts of the service where the minister says something and the congregation says something back are very worthwhile. There is no PowerPoint, you simply use the handout provided.
