SHAMEā¦SHAMEā¦SHAME! SHAME ON āYUN! ā (Not a typo, read on)
Strange experience. Everybody there including the woman who I believe is the pharmacist in charge is very kind and professional. Contrariwise, a few days ago read on, āYelpā that a pharmacist by the name of āYUNā was, āINTIMIDATED OR DISCRIMINATORY WITH REGARDS TO FILLING CONTROLLED MEDICATIONS.ā I thought it was kind of a strange thing to say but itās stuck out to me.
Today I went to there to fill a controlled medication. The pharmacist informed me that I was āfour days early,ā In my 45 years Iāve never had such a problem. I remembered the review that I had read, sure enoughā¦IT WAS, āYUN!ā At that point I knew something unethical, self-righteous or at the very least picky and traits. I have been going to Walgreens for years, that is not an unimportant detail.
I understand there is a good reason for these medicationās to be scrutinized, they have an abuse potential. Iām not one to take messing around with my medical care lightly. I called THE NY STATE BOARD OF PHARMACY AND WAS TOLD THERE IS NO āFOUR DAYS EARLY LAW.ā
THEY ALSO SAID THAT, āBECAUSE A PHARMACIST SHOULD UNDERSTAND, WHAT IS, āREASONABLEā THEY SHOULD USE THEIR DESECRATION REASONABLY, RESPONSIBLY AND ETHICALLY. PATIENT CARE IS FIRST.ā
I filed a complaint. I emailed the person on yelp and I hope he does as well. I wonder if her bosses know how she uses her description. I doubt it, they seem to be pretty focused on the patient, thatās why I go, I like them. It seems like āYun,ā itās very pessimistic and discriminatory against certain medicationās. You could certainly tell she felt very...
Ā Ā Ā Read morei had the worst experience ever in this store location by the manager on duty who has no respect to costumrs with disabilities. I came to him on my wheelchair holding a birthday balloon for my 4 year old daughter and even if bought from him balloons and ribbons from the other store and came back to him. instead of helping me or telling me upfront that he can't help so I can go else where . this man came to me with his unfriendly face no smile and unfriendly voice tone Ć nd waist 30 mints of my time waiting for him to make up his mined to help me or not. he should have simple professional attitude instead of giving me lecture in his work which he thinks is so hard for me to understand as he under estimated me when he saw me on the wheelchair. what he doesn't know that just becuse I'm on a wheelchair does not mean I'm stupid or deserve to be treated like this. I have 2 masters degree and 2 PHD in my field of expertise and I have a very respective job and I'm a humen being above all and respect to be treated nicely above all. so after waiting for so long I just left his store peaceful with no words to say except the feeling of humiliation that i hated and left me sasd going to my child school birthday with no balloons...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI scheduled my dad to get his COVID-19 vaccine at this location. The staff was amazing. As a retail pharmacist myself, I know how super crazy it can get and especially now in these times. Kudos to the pharmacy team. We didnāt even have to wait. Even if we did have to, there is no rush in these times. We need to understand how tough it is. The two gentlemen on that day 2/27/20, sorry did not get their names were super friendly helping other customers. The girl technician( sorry also didnāt get her name) assisting me with my dadās vaccine at the register was polite and professional. The pharmacist Yun as per my dad was super gentle with the shot! Overall a great experience! Thank you pharmacy team in these hard times. You are our heroes! Stay safe and keep up...
