I went to exchange a blood pressure cuff that did not work. The only thing I wanted to do was exchange for a new one. I picked up the same exact machine and was told no. The manager Effin(spelling) was very rude to me. And also the worker Maria D. Because I got the machine on sale they did not want to exchange it. Even though I had my receipt and it was within the 30 days. He talked to me very rudely and I was well within my rights. I did not appreciate the way he handled me or the situation. Just because I got something at a sale price that did NOT state FINAL sale. Was not a reason to not complete the exchange when the item I received was NOT...

The pharmacy at this Duane Reade location is truly a breath of fresh air compared to other locations I've visited in the city. I had called to see if my medication was in-stock before transferring my prescription, and I had the pleasure of speaking with Corey. He was so incredibly helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. When I came into the store, Corey immediately knew who I was, and he and the rest of the team were extremely helpful and welcoming. Kanashia stood out in particular, and had such a warm energy and truly made me feel like I was a valued customer. This is definitely going to be my pharmacy of choice...

The customer service at this location is incredibly disappointing. Despite being situated at one of the busiest train stations in NYC, the management consistently disregards complaints. Their behavior reflects poorly on our community and leaves a negative impression on the countless tourists that pass through.
