I went into this store this afternoon to have my watch battery changed and cleaned. What an awful experience...

I was told that it would be done in 15 minutes, and when I returned, it was not done. They told me five more minutes and I opted to wait. Then the store owner began harassing me. She tried to sell me anything in the store, and completely ignored me when I said that I was not interested. It was the most blatant and awful salesmanship I've ever experienced. She threw so many "deals" at me and tried to convince me of the quality etc... but I told her I couldn't afford to purchase anything at that time. Then she tried to push their store credit card on me (as if I would trust a credit card from a hole in the wall in midtown?). At some point "good salesmanship" just becomes irritating and unnecessary.

I asked for my watch and they kept saying a few minutes, a few minutes. I am convinced that they were lying to me in order to stall and try to force me to buy something.

To top it off, I noticed when I left the store that they didn't even clean my watch. I was overcharged and played with, and I will never go here again for any...

First time I went in it was fine. Had a clasp fixed on a chain and a very nice man charged me a very reasonable price less than $15. I went in yesterday to have the same clasp fixed and a watch battery replaced but this time the owner was there, she said it would cost $50 for just the clasp. When I said the price was awefully high and much higher than the last time. She tried to get me to buy a piece of jewelry and said she would charge me less for the clasp. I Kept saying I did not want to buy anything and took my chain off counter. But I was still waiting for my watch and she wouldn't stop. We went back and forth and I became so angry. STAY AWAY! THIS PLACE IS FRAUD! THEY SELL FAKE JEWELS!! I bought two pendants there recently, had them appraised later by two jewelers. The pieces are fake. The jewelers told me I had been "had". I tried to talk to Nava and explain what had happened, she refused to refund my money or offer to buy the pieces back at a lower price.
