If I could give 0 stars I would. As a restaurant offering gluten free options they should be educated to know what products are gluten free and which aren’t. I ordered for pickup a gluten free hot dog and added in notes to change gloves when making and packing my order due to allergy. After eating it I noticed the in store menu doesn’t show gluten free options for a hot dog. I asked the employee if I received a gluten free hot dog and he said parts of it is and that gluten free people can eat the bread. I asked him again and he repeated the same. I asked to see the actual bread used. It was a regular potato hot dog bun with the ingredients listing Wheat gluten written in bold. He then proceeded to tell me they ran out of the gluten free bread but still gave me a hot dog with a regular bread. I have celiac, an autoimmune disease where I can’t even consume a crumb of gluten without having immense pain and bad reactions. Consuming gluten can also have disastrous consequences for me down the line. It is completely unacceptable that instead of simply canceling my order or telling me they don’t have the bread, I was given a gluten bread. It is extremely deceptive and harmful. He didn’t even let me know when I picked up my order that he replaced the bread. It’s been two days and I am still suffering from consuming so much gluten. There is a reason why someone is specially ordering something gluten free and paying the extra money for it (allergies, diseases, etc). It is frustrating to know that I wasn’t even offered a refund and even after reaching out to Holy Cow I received no response. I should not be teaching the employees what gluten free is. As an establishment that claims that they have gluten free options they should be educating their employees. This is a huge problem and hazard and can seriously affect so many customers. It’s clear this has been going on for possible months. As months ago I order a gluten free hot dog and received the same bun. Holy Cow you need to do better and educate your employees. This is very negligent and...
Read moreWe were truly disappointed with our experience. We ordered the Holy Chicken Burger expecting grilled meat, but instead received large, bland chunks that were poorly cooked and lacked any proper seasoning or grilling. It completely missed the mark.
To make things worse, we ordered bottled drinks — only to be told they had no bottle opener available. How does that even happen?
We also ordered two scoops of ice cream, which were so rock-solid that the staff struggled to scoop them out. I pointed out that even if they managed, the taste and texture would be ruined — and the staff actually agreed. When we requested a refund, we were told that refunds aren't possible. Instead, they asked us to choose something else of equal value. Unbelievable.
We were a group of 7 adults and 3 kids. In the middle of our visit, they suddenly turned off the air conditioning. The place quickly filled with an awful garbage-like smell. The staff seemed inexperienced and poorly trained, and the only other person visible was busy inside the kitchen.
All in all, a frustrating and unpleasant visit. The order value was 125$ for these craps. We’re not going back, won’t be ordering online, and definitely won’t be recommending this...
Read moreI'd consider myself a tough critic, however I really do endorse this fine establishment called "Holy Cow". I ordered the Holy Burger, fries and chicken nuggets! It packed great flavors however was greasier than I liked. Fries were great, chicken nuggets were nothing special but decent. This is a great place to visit for a late night bite, the place is clean, cashier was nice and overall was a solid experience. The pricing is mid tier so keep that in mind if you're looking for a cheap bite. Their portion size is suitable for the price though.
P.S for those that are hindu, there is a chicken alternative. But I do understand why you wouldn't walk into this place.
Thank you...
