I came here at 11:45am on a Monday. No line. I came to return The Day Magazine Tote in color Marine, and The Form Slide Sandals in color Wine. These were both “Choose What You Pay” that I purchased on the website, and they didn’t live up to my expectations. Customer service was good and the staff was friendly. The Form Slide Sandal was stiff, and I knew the upper would be cutting my toes up any second. Plus, I live in NYC where I literally never wear slides outside on the off-chance a rat scurries over my foot. Better to invest in close-toed shoes. The Day Magazine Tote was also stiff (same leather as the slide?). The handles felt like they would be slipping off of my shoulders all day long. There is no closure on the top, so if I drop or lay my bag sideways, things might fall out. The color wasn’t 100% for me either, as I would have preferred a wine color. As for the store, inventory is low. They didn’t have 2 items I was looking for: The Micro Rib Crew Tee, and The Cashmere V-Neck Sweater. They did have a denim section, underwear, linen tees, dresses, cotton tees, jean jackets, and shoes. Before this street-level store, there was the Everlane Soho Studio. I find this space quite similar to that, so I can see how shoppers are leaving unfulfilled. I believe the objective of that space was to introduce people that preferred a tangible experience of shopping to the Everlane brand. Now that many avid shoppers are familiar with the brand, this concept might not cut it anymore. It sounds to me like shoppers are expecting more of a Uniqlo experience from Everlane. All styles in all colors in the store. Everlane might want to rethink their brick-and-mortar concept.

Was wandering around in Nolita during my 5 day trip to NY the other week and this shop immediately caught my eye. I'd never heard about Everlane before but glad I found it! When I walked in it had a bit of the minimalistic COS vibe but then they mainly sell jeans. The staff was lovely and super helpful. They didn't have my size in stock so they gave me the option to order online in-store and ship it for free to my home in London. Was quite impressed I received it the week after. Quality, style and price for their jeans are on point! Would deffo be happy to have an Everlane opening in London!

This stores dressing room is dusty, don’t think they sweep at all. Quality of their material is trash and cheaply. Sweater is pilling, shoes are stiff and narrow, and boguht their panties and they were falling to literal pieces after one wear/wash and customer service won’t refund me - even though I got them less than 30 days ago.

I chose to shop at Everlane because I worried about my fast fashion purchases and the imprint they were having on the environment. I recently purchased the "Boss Mules" because I thought they looked timeless and I was convinced they would last for years. I work in an office setting and these were a practical staple piece to add to my wardrobe.

My first disappointment came when I scuffed the toe of one shoe. I assumed that like my husbands well made expensive shoes I would be able to polish it away. I was so upset to see that these were not repairable, the material chosen was not polish-able, it was just a leather overlay? Is that even a thing? I kept wearing them, intent on not buying new items and keeping my environmental footprint low. Until today, when on my way to a very important work meeting to my shock and horror the heel on my "Boss Mule" separated from the sole. After only 5 months of very light use they are completely destroyed. I looked completely disheveled, there goes first impressions.

For a company who prides themselves on ethics this just feels wrong. It's upsetting that people trying so hard to do their part to contribute to society in a positive way are met with products that are misrepresented on sleek websites and stores. I will hobble home today in not only embarrassment but the utmost disappointment in discovering yet another fast...

Not sure how people like this store, at all. I like the concept of Everlane and their products are great- this one star is for the STORE only. First of all, there is a line to get INTO the store, like its some sort of exclusive club. The store wasn't even at capacity yet they had a line to get in. I just wanted to try on some shoes to make sure I got the right size, so I wasn't thrilled with the line. When I got into the store, the shoe section was packed and both of the women working it were very busy. I went up to another employee to ask if she could please help me with the shoes because she wasn't doing anything but chatting with her fellow employee. She gave me a TERRIBLE look and said I" don't do the shoes, there are people over there for that." I said, "yes but they are very busy." She rolled her eyes at me and said "sorry." I know we're in New York and Soho or whatever, but the store is unnecessarily snobby and unwelcoming. The store, of course, didn't even have my size of shoe in the color I wanted because it only carried two colors. I did end up ordering my shoes online because I had giftcards to Everlane and needed to use them. I had planned to order even more items from Everlane, but the ridiculous atmosphere and attitude of employees at the store have me thinking differently. Your products are wonderful but your store...
