After reading so many of the positive reviews, I was quite looking forward to getting my nails done here. I had a broken toe nail that I wanted to get fixed and I wanted to get my hands done as well. They charged me roughly 20 dollars for one single toe nail (a pedicure was like 45) which I thought was absurdly high. Because of this I was turned off from getting my hands done from the same place but the lady was quite pushy and seemed to be not talking the best about me in their language. Then I asked if she could do butterfly designs and showed her some, but she was quick to shut it down. Even after I said no to getting my hands done twice, she kept asking me “so are you going to get it done or not?”. After some amount of uncomfortable atmosphere, I gave in and got my hands done, she was quite careful and sweet after a bit (hence the two stars). Now it’s been about 10 days since I had gone there and my nails (extensions + powder nails) are lifting. Everytime I put my hand in my hair to tie a pony or anything, some strands get caught in this lift and the whole things is just uncomfortable. Out of caution of getting water residue in the lift and having nail infections, I need to get them removed altogether. (In less than two weeks) For the entire experience and the price of the services, I’m quite disappointed with the work. P.S. I’m trying to attach some images but it’s difficult to show the lift in the same. Hope this helps someone!

I came here to try it out around 6:25pm for the first time based on reviews I read here. I went inside and spoke to manicurist on what I wanted. I said “I’ll do it” and sat down. For coming in at this time and it was quiet, I was pleased. Fong gave me the best first impression with her technic. I treated myself to French gel manicure, which I do love the classy style in the Malaga nail color slight dark tint in my natural nail shape; square round. The price was fair and the service throughout was well worth it - the massages are icing on the cake. This was truly the best first pick for a spot in the city and so happy with the results. Flaire Nails is such a quaint, yet sweet and calming establishment. This is just what I needed for my Thursday evening. Thank you Fong for being nice and complimenting the style chosen. You’re wonderful and shall come back. You got yourself a new client. P.S. I love a place that greets their consistent clients by first name and remembers conversation. A special moment that made me so happy inside, is hearing one client say “she might be getting proposed.” I left sharing how it made my day and congratulations. Makes me so giddy to witness beautiful news!

I agree with past reviewers that the women who work here are incredibly friendly. I walked in to ask for gel extensions and got very lucky that they had an opening at that time. However, my technician was not cautious when buffing my nails. She scuffed my skin on multiple fingers and caused painful cuts. I had to apply antibiotic ointment that night to prevent infection. The salon itself is also very small and only two people were working there when I walked in on a Tuesday. Overall, I was pleased with my experience but there are some things that could be improved.

Really amazing place to get your nails did! It’s a small place but very homey and comfortable inside. Cindy was so nice and wonderful. She had a nice firm yet gentle touch when handling my nails. We had a good conversation and I told her about an incident I had earlier in the day where a salon rejected me from their nail services. I was in desperate need to get mines done and looked on Google and Flaire Nails was close to me and had wonderful reviews. She was very empathetic and told me that it is no way to talk to a human let alone a customer. And you can tell that she is a fan favorite in the area with a loyal clientele. She did an amazing job on my nails. I like the way they let you choose the colors, and she didn’t rush me in picking one at all like the previous place!

This place is CASH ONLY. And they charge a reasonable amount for gel manicure, mines was about $37...
