This bar is undoubtedly my absolute favorite for numerous reasons. Firstly, the atmosphere is incredibly vibrant; the buzz of conversation fills the air, and the staff, particularly Brie, are simply fabulous. Brie exceeded all expectations with her warm welcome and genuine kindness. During my initial visit, she graciously gave me a tour of the entire bar, a gesture similar to welcoming someone in one's home.
But it's not just the ambiance and hospitality that make this place stand out—it's the food too. Prepare to have your taste buds tantalized by their mouthwatering offerings, especially the pretzels and divine macaroni and cheese. And for those looking for a unique date night experience, this bar has you covered. Instead of the usual awkward small talk, you can bond over ping-pong, indulge in some video games, and munch on popcorn for an added touch of whimsy. It's a haven of joy and entertainment.
When you're seeking a place to enjoy a few drinks, it's not just about what's in your glass—it's about the people you're surrounded by and the experiences you share. In that regard, Tread Well Bar in the 60s of NYC goes above and beyond. It's not just a bar; it's a community hub where kindness and camaraderie thrive. I couldn't recommend it more...

The music is always extremely loud so expect to be screaming to your guests. The crowd is usually of a younger demographic. There is a ping pong table, 3 arcade pinball games, foosball, and several card/board games too! Service (1/5): Don’t expect to get service unless you are chasing them down. Understanding that the venue is extremely busy, the hostess was not welcoming at all and forgot about my table request after waiting over an hour. Eventually, I just sat down after a table had been freed up for over 15 minutes. Food (4/5): The drink selection is pretty expansive with several beers on tap. Liquor here is a bit more expensive than I’d like ($14 Titos), $8-11 beers, and $9 hard seltzers. Their food is actually pretty solid. I can’t remember what I ordered last time but I remember the portions were small but every bite was delicious. Pretzel (4/5): While the pretzel is massive, I would not expect the price point of $24. The bread is very soft and the various dips complemented it very well. The cheese dip was definitely...
Read moreA great place to go for a drink or a meal with the family. It's nice to see a place where you can seat yourself and the staff isn't confused. Service was quick and staff is friendly. There's a small game room consisting of free to play ping pong and foosball tables as well as 4 pinball machines. Everyone was courteous and did not use the games for too long. I also saw that some groups were playing Jenga on their tables. Also they have a popcorn machine running where you can help yourself to some free popcorn. Going there on a Sunday and I saw that the guests were mostly families and transitioned to college students as the afternoon progressed. Had a good time but If there is a downside, the food could be improved. The food consisted of both fresh and store bought items for example store bought ravioli instead of freshly made. I only noticed this because as a non cook I have bought the same ones in the past. The prices are about +3-4 dollars above other UES establishments. Overall if you're going there with friends and family you'll have a great time, just don't expect too much...
