What We Loved: 🍽️ We shared four outstanding appetizers, each better than the last: • 🐙 Char-grilled octopus: Smoky, tender, and bursting with flavor. • 🦑 Flash-fried calamari: Crispy perfection with a zesty, tangy dip. • 🦐 Shrimp Santorini: Juicy shrimp in a rich, garlicky tomato sauce with creamy feta. • 🥧 Spanakopita: Flaky, golden phyllo filled with creamy spinach and feta goodness.
Why It’s the Ultimate Date Night Spot: ✨ Romantic Ambiance: Coastal Greece vibes with soft lighting, intimate seating, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. 🍷 Shareable Dishes: Generous portions perfect for sharing—because nothing says romance like splitting the best seafood in NYC! 💙 Exceptional Service: The staff made us feel like family—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about their menu.
Final Thoughts: Every dish was cooked to perfection, the atmosphere was intimate yet lively, and the service exceeded all expectations. Sea Salt NYC is now officially on my NYC must-visit list for seafood lovers and anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.

Let’s start with that it’s not really a mediterranean restaurant. It’s Turkish. Even though Turkey is in mediterranean region it’s not working like that.
When we came to this place there were only few tables occupied so we thought that it should be at least quite fast service.
We made an order and waited 45 minutes to get our food. After first 30 minutes we asked where is our food and man came and started to read what we ordered and told that it’s ok to wait this amount of time and it’s gonna be delicious.
There were 4 of us and we finished whole bottle of wine while waiting food. After 40 mins waiter first time paid attention to us and wanted to fill our glasses but the bottle was already empty. I think he must started to think that they are doing something wrong.
Food was okay but nothing more. I ordered chicken kebob and it was tasteless. Chicken was not marinated deeply. All the taste was only outside and inside it was just tasteless boiled chicken.
Before this place I thought that nobody can prepare bad fries BUT here they took frozen fries. Can you imagine using frozen fries in a restaurant where dish costs $25? So of course it was totally tasteless. I think it's first time in NYC I see something like that.
So after we asked for a cheque we waited 20 mins more. Somewhere after first 10 mins we asked second time for that.
And at the end I want to tell that restroom MUST be a face of any place. This place has dirty restroom so I believe in the other review which tells about food poisoning. Thanks God we had...

I recently enjoyed lunch at Sea Salt and was thoroughly impressed. The dishes were bursting with flavor, and the cocktails were nothing short of delicious. The Mezze Sampler is perfect for sharing, offering a variety of dips and small plates that showcase the rich and diverse flavors of Mediterranean cuisine. The salads are equally impressive, with vibrant, fresh ingredients and perfectly balanced dressings.
A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of experiencing their weekend brunch, it was amazing! The brunch menu is impressively rich, offering a wide range of options that cater to all tastes.
