A few months ago, I visited the Golden Goose store in Bal Harbour while I was in Miami, and I had an absolutely wonderful experience. I was assisted by a young man named Feros, who went above and beyond with his service. He was professional, kind, knowledgeable about the brand, and made the entire shopping experience feel special. Thanks to his excellent service, I decided to purchase a pair of Superstar sneakers for my better half.
Although we live in New York, we often move around due to work. When my better half finally tried on the sneakers, they turned out to be too tight. We called the Bal Harbour store to ask if an exchange could be made at another location, and they kindly referred us to the Madison Avenue store, recommending that we speak with Paige, who was introduced as the store manager.
Unfortunately, from the moment we contacted the Madison Avenue store, our experience changed completely. Paige received us with a visibly unwelcoming attitude. She seemed uninterested and unwilling to help. Even though the correct size was available at the store, she insisted we order the shoes from Italy, which caused unnecessary delays.
When the new pair finally arrived, my partner tried them on but realized he preferred a different model — the Ball Star, which felt significantly more comfortable and better suited for daily wear. Explaining this to Paige was another challenge. Once again, instead of simply exchanging the pair in-store, she insisted we would need to order them from Italy as well. It felt as though she was more focused on creating obstacles than offering solutions.
Eventually, the exchange was approved — but even the payment process became a hassle. The store had the ability to send a payment link, which would have been the simplest and most professional option to cover the price difference, yet they initially refused to do so. It wasn’t until a team member named Jennifer stepped in — who, unlike Paige, was eager to help — that we were finally able to complete the transaction.
Sadly, the overall experience at the Madison Avenue store was disappointing and frustrating. The lack of care and poor attitude made it clear that I would not return to that location. On the other hand, I look forward to visiting the Bal Harbour store again during future trips to Miami — especially to be helped once more by Feros, who truly reflects the spirit and quality of the Golden...
Read moreI had an exceptional experience at the Golden Goose store on Madison Avenue. From the moment I walked in, the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. I especially want to highlight Anna, who went above and beyond to provide personalized service that felt genuine and thoughtful. She made the entire visit feel special.
Having previously visited the SoHo location, I was honestly blown away by the difference. While SoHo felt impersonal, Madison had a completely elevated, customer-first approach.
If you’re shopping Golden Goose in NYC, skip SoHo and come straight to Madison. You’ll feel seen, styled, and sincerely...
