First of all, one of the 5 star reviews on this site is from the leasing “manager”, Leon Koretsky. If this doesn’t tell you to stay away, I don’t know what will.
The apartments are tiny and way overpriced. The carpeting is worn and smelly. The staff is bored out of their minds. There is only one person behind the huge desk and if you have someone ahead of you, you will be waiting for a while. There is no doorman. For the prices they ask, there should be several.
My experience is with Leon. When my Broker introduced me to the building he and I verified with Leon that my 2 dogs would be acceptable. After a couple of visits he adamantly denied he said that they were allowed. I verified this with my broker. Leon is two faced. He is a salesman. Selling used cars would be more appropriate for his style and attitude.
When I first saw an apartment I wanted to see it once more to eliminate or add it to my rental options. At first he said to come to the open house. And when I did, he had me wait for an hour and 20 minutes. He told me that open house was only for those there for the first time. And then he argued with me because I wanted to look at an apartment one more time. Amazing.
Oh. The gym. Do you think that perhaps they could spend a few dollars and update the equipment? It is outdated and most likely unsafe. The covers are worn off. The bench may have been purchased 20 years ago. And the lounge does have a pool table. Most likely it was purchased at a second hand thrift shop.
Basically, the whole thing stinks. Do yourself a favor and look...
Read moreAbsolutely disappointing. Please, AVOID this apartment so that you can enjoy your journey at NYC. All kinds of annoying issues popped out from time to time. The broken toilet, colored water from pipes, a sudden waterfall from the ceiling (due to some broken pipe). I contacted the maintenance team many times for the toilet issue, but they were super slow on fixing it. I visited the leasing office to communicate my toilet issue, but Ms Karen Cook didn't even show up to talk... I only heard her voice coming from the bedroom area. Another lady sitting at the table briefly talked to me, told me that they could do nothing about this.
Also BE AWARE that they take super long to refund the security deposit. My request to have my deposit refund was ignored for weeks and it's been a month now, still haven't received it. Some guy replied my email saying that they were off because of holiday (who knows which one). Wish me the best of luck getting...
Read moreFor a start, I’m not a tenant- I’d never be one.
I walk by this dump almost every day with my dog or on my way to Broadway from Amsterdam- I stay on the other side of 91st Street.
The ROTTING DETRITUS and FESTERING OFFAL spewed out of the Restaurant’s back door runs down the sidewalk and sheets the walk in 1/4” of vermin loving fecal and organic sheen that GLOWS GREEN in the flouro lighting under the Disgusting Canid swamped Urine coated Claustrophobic scaffolding that serves to focus masses of this stank AND NOBODY SEEMS TO CARE!
Then the building piles up vast numbers of garbage bags from the tenants that seem to always be spreading out open onto the sidewalk and into the gutter where it will BLEND into.A DISGUSTING MELANGE of BLISTERING DECAY headed for the Hudson after a good hard rain.
If you wear sandals? Cross the Street. If you’re thinking of visiting, or heaven sakes, treading? Wear...
