Do not come here. They pour sulfate shampoo into a name branded bottle. Use same shampoo for all hair types. Wont buy the products necessary for the services; The boss will take out one hairspray then all the hairstylists have to share that one hairspray lol. Screaming over clients trying to figure out who has the hairspray is nuts lol. They dont thorougly clean their tools or brushes. He has illegal immigrants working in his shop, pays off the books but wants to ask the ones who have a social for their information but still give them an off the books check from his bank account..... spooky business. He is a racist cheap liar who flirts with his favorite stylists despite being married. He sugarcoats the job on indeed. He doesnt pay his employees on-time ever and whenever he does, its sometimes less than what they were supposed to get. He sometimes takes their tips too. Yuck. He wants all the stylists to learn a receptionist role and assistant role but dont get paid enough for it. Wont hire an assistant or a receptionist because obviously he's cheap. All his employess always end up quitting and everyone there right now have been there for less than 6 months. He offers free massages, haircuts or quick makeup touch ups but the catch is that he forces those people to give them 5 star reviews so the reviews will look good. On the bright side , all the stylist and nail artists are so good at what they do. The boss doesnt deserve...
Read moreSo I went to this place about 3 weeks ago and it was terrible. They offered us (a group of teenage girls) either a free massage or makeup session for international women’s day as we waited for the scarce number of nail techs to do our nails. The place had a very weird vibe and later we saw the employees smoking in the side room. It stank like weed. The “makeup” guy did a HORRIBLE job on my friends, and they asked for natural makeup and he gave them FULL GLAM. They literally looked ridiculous. He did not wash the brushes and their faces were extremely irritated afterwards. The man working the front desk pressured us all into writing 5 star reviews, saying that we had to do that as we received complimentary services. This was never specified before and when one of the girls pointed this out, he became argumentative and rude to her. I would definitely not suggest going to this place, and especially I would not trust the reviews. The good ones are most likely written by coerced people or some of their friends. I would stay clear of this place if you are a single woman or alone person/teen, as they seem to take advantage of people. I would be extremely wary of letting them touch your face or hair- after reading countless...
Read moreIf I could give this place a 0 I would. We were told blow outs were $50 depending on length, which was perfectly fine. All went well he did an amazing job on our hair. but when it came to check out, the card machine was down. The stylist told us we had to pay $130 to a venmo that belonged to the salon owner im guessing. I sent the venmo $150 which was the tip included, the stylist got upset saying there was a separate venmo account for the tip and told me to cancel the payment but Venmo does not allow you to cancel the payment once it’s sent. He then says he actually forgot to charge us $80 more because my friends hair is long, he kept adding more prices, he locked the door on us saying we could not leave the salon because we didn’t pay. Super unprofessional and made us feel unsafe, felt disrespected because we paid the amount he told to at checkout. To top it off he proceeded to follow us outside of the suite and into the elevator, and into the streets of midtown. He followed us about 3-4 blocks and was taking pictures of us and recording videos. We got the whole situation on video. Do not book here. we asked to speak to higher management and clearly...
