The service at this place is impressive, with a rude and unassertive attitude to give an explanation. Let me explain: we were with some friends, Latinos, having a good time and the service was excellent until it was time to pay. Upon receiving the receipt we had concerns regarding the collection and they gave us a new invoice. At the time of paying, the person in charge charged us an additional charge without explaining or telling us why the charge was made. We showed him the bill they gave us and he snatched it out of my hands, throwing it on the floor without any explanation. At the moment we demanded it, he gave us a different one with a difference of 63.96 USD and that represented approximately 4 USD each of the 7 people who were there and although we paid, the person in charge threw us out with his hands, so that we could leave. of the place (can be seen on cameras) racist and incoherent attitude in the service provided. From the outside Cassidys really doesn't look anything special, it looks like just an ordinary bar, an Irish Pub, a bit of a dark and dingie front door and entrance area and indeed it's not anything special but it knows what it is and does what it knows very well; that's good beer, good hospitality and decent food for your money.

But once inside it's a warm, friendly and is clearly a really popular bar that has plenty of atmosphere with very welcoming staff to boot. The decor is plain and simple, with tables, bar stools and high-tops with the walls adjourned with old signs, TVs showing sports and themed pictures.

The menu is straight forward, simple and quite basic but it's reasonably priced and from what we had it wasnt bad. I had buffalo wings whilst my wife had the French onion soup 🍲, which she really enjoyed. Great choice of beers.

The service was really good. The restrooms were clean.

The best and among the million reasons I love this town! When my parents and I were visiting the week of Christmas, we had checked into the Midtown Hilton, unloaded our things and walked back out to find somewhere for dinner via winging it. We walked the block or so away from the hotel, turned a corner and found Cassidy’s. As soon as we walked inside, it felt so warm and welcoming with lots of cozy decorations. We were seated immediately and greeted by our friendly server. I ordered a holiday cocktail which was delicious as was the rest of our dinner. For a lot of things you want to do here, especially during the holidays you need to plan in advance, but not everything and this is the perfect example of the ladder. Funny story: after I returned home and was recapping holiday exploits with a coworker, I mentioned Cassidy’s to her and she knew exactly where I was walking about and had, on completely different occasions during a different time, had exactly the same experience.
