Gucci - New York Wooster — Local services in New York

Went here to exchange an item that I purchased abroad. It was midday during my lunch hour. No one greeted me as I came in and had to wait around one section of the store until I finally came up to someone. I spoke to a woman with a blazer that had Desiree on it, not sure if that’s her name. Anyway, she looked VERY uninterested, didn’t bother helping and took her time to verify what I needed only to tell me to go to the 5th ave. location for the item that I needed. I asked her if she can possibly verify that they have it since 5th Ave only had 1 left, and without even trying - she was quick to say there’s no way I can do that / no way I can contact them. Funny enough, I was able to when I got back to work.

Anyway, long story short - never shopping here again. If you need something, go up to 5th ave., despite the store being in the Trump tower, the service there is WAY more exceptional and worth the trip.

Came back to this store recently to purchase a present for my mom, and was helped by Kalsang. He was such a pleasure to work with! I only really came in to purchase a ring, but I ended up walking away with a trunk... talk about an impulse purchase! However, this really goes to show how powerful great customer service can be because Kalsang went above and beyond to show a product that was not on the floor, provide product knowledge, expertise and was so patient with my friend and I. If you need help, ASK FOR NICK. This store has AMAZING customer service from Nick!!!! I came into the store around two saturdays ago with my boyfriend. He was buying gucci tennis shoes for his upcoming birthday tomorrow. While there, we were offered sparkling water during try-ons and I happened to see this really beautiful snakeskin wallet in pink. I wanted it BAD but I remembered how much I dumped into my boyfriend's birthday vacation and told myself I'll get it later. Well, later is here and I called Gucci to ask about the wallet and they forwarded my request to the store. The next day I got a text from a sales associate, Nick. He wasn't sure which wallet I was describing so he took screenshots of each wallet being sold for me and checked the inventory. For two days Nick followed up in text with me to help me find it! Sadly, it was sold out, but he offered to keep in touch and let me know when it'll be back in stock. And I absolutely believe he will. Their employees are such good communicators and the environment is so welcoming. No doubts that you'll be helped the way you need...

What a beautiful store. For starters, everyone in the store is absolutely welcoming and so delightful to talk to even if you're not buying anything. They were all knowledgeable of the product! The history of the building. They offer you water or sparkling water. This store is a Gem it's not your regular Gucci store. If you're ever in NY and go to this particular location, ask for D'Marco he's a sale associated there you will probably know who he is before you ask for him. Young gentleman with beautiful blond Dredlocs tied back. He was so patient and listened to me and showed me & my husband jewelry ready to wear bags. He was extremely knowledgeable of the products asked us question to get a better sense of our likes and dislikes. We struck up a great conversation he let us know he's an Artist 🎨 and some day he would love to design for Gucci. You could tell he really loves where he works.
