Gucci - Saks New York 5th — Local services in New York

I love Gucci as a brand, but the customer service, to say the least, was horrible. I’ve been there twice to buy some cosmetics and both times the female managers were very judgmental and didn’t want to help me.

Today, the manager approached the other group (despite them not wanting help and I did look like I did) and then after they left, as if someone forced the manager to work there and scanned my outfit before approaching me and looked very hesitant to help me. Also, she said there were no items that I wanted in stock although I clearly saw they did, so I didn’t appreciate that from her side. Went to the shoe floor looking for something for my birthday, i was ready to spend a lot until the sales associate (old white man) approached me and my husband to ask what we were looking for, i asked for a pair that they had but in black and he said they might have it. When i saw it i told him it looked blue and that i wasn’t interested.

His answer was “You’re putting too many excuses so i see you’re not ready for these type of shoes, come back when you are”

I immediately left the place so disgusted by the comment and the treatment that he was giving us.

Was not expecting that treatment for a good brand like gucci and will never come back...

I friend of mine enter the store and was treated like she was in the 1950's where colored folks were not allowed to enter. She was watched and harassed, told to move out of like to let other folks move ahead - because of her color!!! HOW can you allow your manager to treat anyone this way. Facts - she already had purchased this purse on line and was going to pick it up.
