If you've ever thought, "Hey, Iād love to pay $600+ to look like I lost a fight with a toaster" then WELCOME. This salon is your spiritual home.
From the moment you step in, the vibe is clear: āWeāre not happy to see you, and weāre not pretendingā. You are greeted by a front desk lady who looks like a fox got into a hairspray factory and came out with trust issues. Her main job seems to be glaring at people and radiating passive aggression like it's a full-body fragrance.
Then thereās Paola, the assistant who redefines the art of doing absolutely nothing while somehow still being in the way. She moved so slowly I thought someone hit the pause button on her life. I watched her hand a towel to someone like it was a family heirloom and then vanish into a puff of disinterest.
Now for the hair: I asked for a beautiful, buttery blonde. I left looking like I personally offended the gods of hair color. The result? Brassy, burnt, and one strong breeze away from breaking off. Basically, if a scarecrow had a rough night out that was the look.
When I (gently) asked why I looked like Iād been electrocuted in a wheat field, they tried to convince me that this was the aesthetic. āItās a warm tone!ā they said. Yeah. Like toast. On fire.
And donāt expect undivided attention. Each stylist juggles 2ā3 clients at once like a caffeinated octopus. Theyāre halfway through your highlights while also cutting someone elseās bangs and probably doing taxes in the back.
When I asked for a correction (you know, to look slightly less like a hair crime scene), they got defensive. Apparently, asking for the service you paid for is a personal attack now.
To summarize: if you like rushed service, fried hair, unsolicited attitude, and a spiritual awakening in the mirror that starts with āWhat have I done?ā this place is perfect. Otherwise, grab a box dye and a bottle of wine. Youāll do...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI do want to be my word and I did tell Kadir that I would share the experience I had after the last review I left. What I want to really make clear, is that Kadir called me as soon as he was informed of how I was Not Thrilled with my first go around. I can say he truly cares about EVERYONE who enters his Kingdom of Hair! Honestly, he went above and beyond in EVERY WAY to make sure I left with EXACTLY what I wanted! Thank you Kadir! The second go around was Magical! He was so Honey Sweet about it All! He paired me with a Super Hair Artist "Eddie", who I Love that he really paid attention to every detail, no matter how small it may have been, and delivered with sheer confidence! I left there elated! Thank you to All the staff for being Honey Sweet and making me feel as if I truly mattered! You can Always tell how the owners and leaders are by the way their staff treat you. The first person I made contact with was Donna. She makes one feel as if she has known you forever! Very warm and took care of business. The ladies that assisted both times, were a joy to interact with, making sure that I wanted for Nothing! My suggestion to amyone going in for the first time is, do your homework and make sure you get as many pictures as necessary to express what you want. Your vision has to be shown, because no one can read your mind, so if you have the time, I would highly suggest a consultation first. I just Love the fact that Kadir made sure that he stands behind his promise of delivering Excellence and made sure that the bar he has set, was definitely met! A+ 1st 2 photos was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe staff here is very kind! But unfortunately, my hair was so over processed that there is still extreme breakage months after my appointment. I had to go to two different salons after my experience here and invest in a lot of at-home hair treatment to restore my hairās health. Iād say I have invested well over $1000, including my services at this salon, to salvage the health of my hair. While the bleach was in my hair, I felt that the professional wasnāt paying too much attention and now, my hair is still breaking every time I brush it. There are extremely short pieces of my hair in the back, due to the bleach being left on a bit carelessly for so long. It truly is very sad to undergo such an experience, walking into a salon with such healthy hair and leaving it, like this. I am writing this review in hopes it can help. All women know how important their hair is and no one wants to go through something like this. Bleach is very strong and I even could sense it was on far too long, but I trusted I was in good hands. As much as I wanted to love my experience here, I am a bit heartbroken at the time and money invested, along with the fact that my hair has never been so damaged. I know my hair will be okay, because I always take good care of it and will continue to do so. But unfortunately, I will not be a returning customer at this salon. I do wish everyone the best on their hair journey and am happy to read such positive reviews, that is why I chose this salon, but that was not my own personal experience. Best...
