Moving to a new place always brings new challenges. One of them is finding somewhere you can trust to cut your hair. I checked out this shop after seeing the reviews online and called ahead to ensure they were taking people. Alex confirmed an appointment for a time just a few minutes in the future. On arrival Alex confirmed it was me who called before and showed me where I could wait for the 2 minutes he needed to finish up his previous customer. From listening to Alex talk to his current customer as well as others that popped in, it was clear that Alex has a connection and cares about all of his customers who he is all familiar with. Alex's connection with his customers truly shows how much he cares about them and makes an effort to know them and seems like a part of the community. He truly is a friendly guy, even to myself whom he just met. He gave a great professional cut which I was very happy with and made sure it was what I wanted. I highly recommend Alex and will be back to see him in the future. I've found my place to get a cut on the UES....

I hate to leave a negative review because everyone in here is so nice & it's such a great environment, but I have to warn other people with long hair: If you come here don't see Oxsana. I asked her to take 2 inches off my waist long-hair and she took 6. It is now only slightly longer than shoulder length. I'm not exaggerating - I measured the difference once I got home with a yardstick. We discussed it before she cut and agreed on 2 inches. I even pointed on my body where the hair should hit. I also told her my hair had natural wave, which she agreed, and that it would draw up once cut. Next thing I know, she's hacked a half a foot off the back of my head. I also had to pay $10 more than usual because she cut so much and because my hair is wavy, now that it's waved up it's no longer even — my hair is noticeably longer on the right side. I've spent the last 2 days looking in the mirror wanting to cry. Do not come here with long...

The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately made me feel comfortable. The shop has a clean, modern look, with a cozy vibe that made the whole experience feel personal and professional at the same time.

The barber was highly skilled and really took the time to listen to what I wanted, offering suggestions based on my hair type and face shape. The haircut itself was flawless, and I could tell they paid attention to every detail. I also opted for the beard trim and straight razor shave combo, which was incredibly relaxing and precise.
