I ordered from MVP on Sunday night, after a business in the neighborhood posted a picture on Facebook about their food.
All I gotta say is this....ALL the pizzerias in the St. George area should be on high alert! This place will give you a run for the money! MVP Pizza Corp is AWESOME! Here's why:

My wife ordered Sausage & Broccoli Rabe Pasta. The chef actually called my wife to say, "Would broccoli be ok? We are out of broccoli rabe?" You see...most places make the switch & don't ask. It makes these other places look like they don't know how to cook. This was a BIG deal for my wife who is a bit of a foodie.
The menu is unique to other places in the area. It's a nice change up.
BUT ABOVE ALL...The food is incredible. My wife took one bite of her Sausage & Broccoli Rabe Pasta, and looked at me and said, "Oh my God. I love this place."
One final note: If you get diet coke on your menu, I will probably order everyday from this place. LOL!
Cheers and welcome to the neighborhood! Way to class...
Read moreOrdered a couple of slices to go more than once. While I can't comment on their other offerings, this place makes a solid slice. Had a plain and a pepperoni. They had those cup like pepperoni too. Thin, greasy, full of flavor, and sizable, I loved every bite. If I had to compare it with anything, I think it'd be Pier 76's slice. Both have that real thin crust.
The place is small, reminiscent of the 'hole in the wall' style pizzaria, but there is some seating, including outdoors. Street parking is a roll of the dice, although there is a paid lot just a few minutes walk away.
There's two pizza guys there, pretty friendly and accommodating. Let them know if you want some garlic powder, red pepper, whatever before they pack up your to go order.
Two slices and a can of soda ran me about $10. You save a little bit with cash instead of card. Bit stiff but I don't eat this stuff everyday.
I don't know where MVP ranks on the islands top list of pizzaria but I'd feel safe recommending it to anyone that wants a solid slice...
Read moreTook some visiting friends here after going on the ferry, the place seems to be ran by 1-2(?) people with only one person running the shop at any given time, so I think you should give leeway when they sell out of menu items, especially late in the day.
That said, I ordered an eggplant parmigiana roll while my friends also ordered cheese pizza and a spinach white pizza. The eggplant roll was very cheesy and savory, two being given per order which is very generous as most pizza places in Queens or Manhattan would charge the same for just one of them. The white pizza was crispy and looked very expertly done.
There was about a 20-30 minute wait, so unless you're just walking in to order something already ready, I wouldn't come here if I was in a rush, but I didn't mind since it was a very relaxed atmosphere and it was just one person making our food from scratch.
I'd definitely come here again if in the area, it was quite cheap for the quantity and quality...
