Jo Malone London — Local services in New York

I love Jo Malone, but I am allergic to many scents. However, Jonathan, at the Columbus Circle location helped me find the perfect scent. Jonathan listened to my needs and was able to suggest several different perfumes. He was mindful of my allergies, so only lightly sprayed small tags, airing them out away from me before allowing me to smell them. When we finally found the perfect scent, Jonathan sprayed a tiny bit on my wrist, then told me to walk around with it on to make sure the notes of the perfume settled in. (I had other errands to run nearby).

After about 45 minutes, I was still in love with the perfume. Jonathan was very busy with customers, it was December 23rd, but he welcomed me back and asked if I liked the way the scent settled into my skin. He even invited me to spray the perfume (Nectarine Blossom and Honey) the way I would normally apply it at home, but it was unnecessary. I was in love. I wear the perfume almost every day. There is no way I would have found it without Jonathan's careful help. He seemed just as happy as I that we found the perfect...

dont even wanna leave a star. I ordered six lip glosses online (spend around $250) as gifts for my friends. Since its online order, I didnt get a shopping bag. I came this location today to ask if they could provide me with shopping bags so that I can give them as gifts for my friends. A staff told me that they cannot give me any shopping bag even tho I made the online order— because they only have enough shopping bags for people who purchase in-person. She said if I buy an item in-person that she could provide me with the bag. (?????)

This is ridiculous, I am a long time customer of Jo Malone, and other location in NYC did it for me last time—they even put tissue paper in the bag to make sure it looked good as a gift.

Now I know why this location has such little stars...

Update: I booked a complimentary arm and hand massage with Carla at this same location and it was so much more than I expected! Book one now if you haven't already! Carla was patient, funny and knowledgeable. She showed me pairings I would have never thought of on my own and I'm looking forward to coming back! The products are amazing but the customer service has got me officially hooked! Had a wonderful experience at this store! I'm new to Jo Malone and Daniel, the sales associate, was great!
