Update: they’ve gone down in quality. I go in and order a pork roll egg and cheese (I say it twice, since the first time the guy didn’t “hear” me) when I get to my car I see it’s an egg and cheese. I go back in and they tell me they don’t have pork roll (great they didn’t acknowledge me and just ignored what I asked for) and don’t use any pork. So they don’t disclose that they’re giving you turkey sausage or turkey bacon… cool. Won’t be going here again soon given lots of other choices in the neighborhood.

Read moreJust a good bagel shop. Fast service, good selection of cream cheeses. Delivers too. It's been my go-to bagel place for over a decade, and the quality and service has never faltered. FYI: a good assortment of sliced meats, but no ham/pork products. Beyond bagels, they have a full breakfast menu (they have a few tables for dine-in, but you can grab and go or order quick delivery). They also have salads, wraps and a good selection of heroes, including "specialty sandwiches"- my favorite is the Roasted Turkey Sandwich (with cranberry spread, brie and sprouts; YUM!)

Read more3.5 Stars but I'm rounding up. When I moved to the neighborhood this place felt like a big step down from the Bagel Store in Williamsburg. They're not the absolute best NY bagels. But they've grown on me over the years and I enjoy the atmosphere--great cross-section of the neighborhood in and out weekend mornings. The whole-wheat everything bagels are great. The sandwiches are generally good (there are a lot of places in the neighborhood that don't serve bacon). Service can sometimes leave a little to be desired, but generally friendly and fast. ...
