Update: After my original review I noticed an immediate change in the cashier’s behavior. All of the cashier’s are very helpful now and go out of their way to assist. The management here obviously cares about their customers and addressed the issue right away. This is greatly appreciated and this supermarket is now our go destination for groceries. The location is great and it’s very clean and maintained well. Thank you very much Key Food staff and management. All the best.
Old Review: Great addition to the neighborhood. Overall, we like the store a lot. My main complaint is the rude male cashiers. They don't help bag groceries and have an attitude like they are too good for the job. I shop here often with my wife and thought perhaps it was only the one cashier but every male cashier that works there is rude. The female cashiers are fine it's just the male ones. Honestly, they are some of the unfriendliest cashiers we have experienced. No job is below anyone and there is dignity in all work but if they think they are too good for the job then...
Read moreHappy to see this grocery opening. It’s a great alternative to the rotten produce of Barzini, and its selection and prices for normal foods seem slightly better than Broadway Farm.
Unhappy to see that they do not list all their prices. Other grocery stores in the area also have this problem. It’s a shock to pick an unlabeled loaf of bread, for instance, off the shelf where others are listed at a given price and have it cost three times that. Even is it’s a small item, it’s frustrating not to be able to compare it’s price to the others around it.
Also, if you use the express check out, there is no door by which to exit the store.
Hopefully they fix...
Read moreNice store, but I did not get the advertised sale price of five dollars for four 15.5 cans of organic Goya chick peas. I was charged $2.29 per can, which is a total of $9.16 when it should have beeen $5.00. I expect this will be rectified when I bring the receipt to the store, but now I have to go through the trouble of doing that.
Edit- 1/24/24 In response to the reply from the store, no, the discount was not applied at all. I am familiar with Key Food receipts and, as I will show you when I come in with the receipt, you will see the advertised sale...
