Came in with 2 tablets that needed fixing. One was a broken screen, the other the charging port needed replacing/fixing.
The tablet with a broken screen came back beautifully.
The other one did not. At the shop, he plugged in the charger to show that it now charges. I accepted it without trying to use the tablet and had to run as I was late to pick up my kids from school. ( this is the reason why I'm not fighting this with the shop. It was my fault for not checking it out then and there)
Back at home, I realize a long black line that won't go away down the middle of the whole tablet. To make matters worse, I am still finding it difficult to charge the tablet and now I have a huge black line down the middle.
Again, I did not contact the shop, mainly because it was my fault for not checking it out there. It's just such a shame for me because I have 5 kids, all with tablets and I am a repeat customer. I did my research and this place was supposed to be the best. Where am I supposed to go now?
The only reason I'm writing this review is so hopefully if you do decide to use this shop, I want to remind you to look it over fully. Open apps. Play some sound. Aside from this issue, I have no complaints. They repaired same day. The guy was nice, and I was able to squeeze my huge double stroller in there.
Just proceed with caution. I'm kicking myself for not checking it out fully.

I have an iPad Pro 11in 3rd gen which was scraped up in a fall. While not horrifically damaged, I was concerned about continued use with a damaged device.
King picked up my iPad on Thursday night and was available for pickup Saturday morning. The repair was quick, affordable and relatively painless.
My iPad had excess glue around the screen which led to a rough first impression. However, it was easy to get off. Additionally, the new screen felt grainy and rough when using an Apple Pencil. I was ready to accept this as the cost of what I would assume to be a cheaper glass panel. I googled the issue and found a Reddit comment that said to “season” the device with your hand oils. It sounds stupid but literally rubbing my hand on it once brought back the feeling I was used to.
Again the glue was quality issue I would have liked to have been addressed before pick up but given the speed and price I can hardly complain. While I hope I never have to visit again, I would certainly recommend others to give their services a try.
EDIT: Upon further use, it seems like the FaceID does not work consistently even after...

Backstory: My iPhone suddenly shut down and was not responding at all. I go visit the Apple store thinking it’s going to be a quick fix.
It was not.
Apple advised they were not able to help me and said that it was an internal problem.
I’m losing my mind. It’s my day off and if this happened during work, I’ll be crying. I’m top of that I’m not able to get my photos or data back. The tech advised other services and data recovery may cost an arm and a leg.
I calling vendors left and right and the prices ranged 200 and up to fix anything internal. I’m losing hope at this point but I looked for a place in Chinatown and this store came up. Called them and they said they can do it.
I go in and he inspects the phone and gives me a reasonable quote. At this point I’m willing to try anything. I was told to come back 2 days.
I’m thinking if this doesn’t work I’m down a hundred something I’ll go back to the previous repair shops. I went back to get my phone 2 days after and it was ALIVE! I’m thanking the guy and feeling so relieved.
If you’re having issues with anything internal for iPhones, please give this store a call. You...
