LAZZONI — Local services in New York

We moved into our downtown apartment about a year ago and since we had sold our suburban house with all its furniture we needed to replace EVERYTHING. After looking at just about every NYC showroom for inspiration and assessment of quality, we selected Lazzoni based on not just their beautiful products but the support they provided with their team of Mehmet and Azad. Our apartment is a 2 bedroom loft with 19 foot ceilings so there's a lot to cover. We selected 2 king bedroom units, with great aesthetics and storage and features to match, 2 large sofas, a beautiful extension dining table and 6 leather chairs to match, and a couple of stunning accent chairs including a leather sling chair that is a knock out. Given that this is all custom work and had to be constructed, we had to wait about 3-4 months for delivery and installation but it was well worth the wait. Everything does look like it was built for our apartment, down to the inch. They worked with us throughout the process to make subtle or not so subtle changes as we discovered that we misfired a bit here and there. Mehmet came to our apartment even before we closed on the unit to take detailed measurements to ensure we got it right, and he created floorplans so we could see things as they were designed. Finally, when delivery day came, a professional group came to get even last piece installed perfectly. After install support is fantastic too. I can't recommend Lazzoni highly enough. From the moment I walked into the Chelsea store I was treated to an extraordinary retail experience that I can say left me feeling completely supported and understood in my journey to buy a sofa.

I wasn’t quite sure what type of sofa I wanted but knew that I wanted a Lazzoni. I was moving into a smaller apartment and needed to find the proper style, size, color, and comfort level. I worked with Tamara who is also a designer and who I cannot say enough about her knowledge, recommendations, and patience and who went the extra mile with me to make sure I got what I wanted.

She walked me around the whole showroom to test every sofa (I wanted to do this) in the store and on more than one occasion put the time in to make sure I was comfortable with my decision down to the feel of the fabric I ordered and even gave me the details of the contents of the fabric. Behzat, the showroom manager was also checking in and extremely supportive as well.

I’ve never had a better time shopping for furniture than I have at Lazzoni. Not even close! Ivan and Gift were not only informed, warm and thoughtful, but they were also super fun to chat with! They emailed with me frequently with prompt responses and saw things with me in person, offered to come into my space to help with measurements and design decisions, all without pushing for a sale. They never rushed my process and chimed in with very useful information and style choices to help me finalize each detail.

Lazzoni’s quality for the price is absolutely unparalleled (I’m extremely obsessive about research and frankly most things this quality are double the price and half as pretty, if you can find anything tolerable at all).

Ivan and Gift have been very honest and transparent about what to expect and wonderfully accepting of all my weird requests and quirks. I wish I had a whole building to furnish just so I could keep shopping and spending time with them!
