Store has some decent things and is generally fun to pop by, as I have at least three times this past month. Nothing truly rare or to die for, especially for what they’re asking (saw broken costume earrings missing their cheap rhinestones for $65?)

I would generally just accept that the store isn’t going to be a favorite and move on, but I’m writing this review because I feel the owner should know they are losing customers due to their awful manners. Even if they weren't in customer service, the backhanded comments and fake niceties are rude and extremely transparent.

I am a 5’4” 110lb woman who shops for a living and usually am not buying for myself, yet I was told not to try something on because it would be too small. I wasn’t interested in trying the item on, I simply glanced at it on a mannequin (these comments just come unwarranted).

Just left a bad taste in my mouth.

Support people who support others, not people who are sizing up...

I went here with my sister today and was looking forward to visiting this shop however we were inside the store for no less than five minutes when the women who was working (short, with black hair, and low voice) yelled, completely unprovoked, at my sister who was looking at a dress. Her exact words were “Honey that’s a size zero and it’s vintage couture” in a very condescending and hostile tone, implying that 1.) she couldn’t fit into the dress and 2.) she wouldn’t be able to afford it. Both of us were both very taken aback as her comment came completely out of nowhere and frankly it ruined the tone of our entire afternoon. Her comment and the tone of her voice was very unprofessional and I will absolutely not be returning. I hope that the owner of the store discusses this incident with the employee (unfortunately I did not get her name) and has a conversation with her about how to treat people...

This store is amazing! Honestly I can not say enough good things about this store and the women that work there. The minute you walk through the front door it’s mesmerizing all the beautiful items and the vibe make you want to stay all day, not to mention the sales women have the knack, style, knowledge of the vintage years and designers is really impressive. Macie who helped me that first day I visited found my style immediately and brought me items my style and that I would love and helped me find a gift for my Florida friend. This is MUST store you want to visit when you are in NY whether your style is designer or vintage you can’t go wrong! I can’t wait to go back on my next trip to NY!
