I have to share my honest opinion about Little Spoon to let others know just in case. While the concept of prepared children’s meals and a meal delivery service is so great (much needed for many families) there are some flaws in the execution. The subscription model and the way items have to be purchased together really is inconvenient. Their categories of items have to be purchased as individual subscriptions…for example the Plates must be purchased in bulk as a subscription not individually selected and another category like the launchers or other baby food items must be purchased in bulk as a subscription. You aren’t allowed to mix and match categories really to build a subscription. I recently figured out a way to get 2 categories of items in 1 shipment however, I had to do some work to figure out how. Secondly, the food really is not good. From an ingredient integrity standpoint—there are a lot of added oils, binders, and filler ingredients that do affect the taste, texture, and end result once you’ve reheated the frozen food for consumption. The tots and sliders for example must have too much of the binding ingredient that it almost feels plastic and unpleasant to eat. The taste/texture of everything My daughter and I have tried has been a 2/10. Really unpleasant to eat, I would not buy anything again. Also about the packaging execution—the meals are on BPA and BPS free plates but the plastic film covering them gets microwaved with the plate and it’s a bit concerning to see what happens to it after the process of heat exposure. The materials really just seem unsafe for consumption. Customer service is helpful so they have that going. However—my overall review is that their branding and marketing is the best thing going but they’re falling short on the quality of their product and I’d say that has something to do with many parts of the process. From the recipes, the production of the food, to the way it must be cooked, frozen, and shipped, the quality of their deliverable product is very low. I hope this review helps someone to make a choice not based on the hype of their branding, marketing, and the only reviews published that rave about their food. The business concept is meeting a demand and their marketing budget is being exhausted to sell an otherwise unpleasant food product—not fully allowing the customer freedom over their purchasing dollar to meet their families true needs.

I LOVE THIS COMPANY SO MUCH! They are so amazing i never have to worry about what is in my son's food, I use to make his food but with working full time and my husband always getting deployed it is impossible for me to and didn't want to feed him something i didn't know what was in it and that was able to just sit on a shelf forever! so when I hurd about Little Spoon Damon tried it the first month and OMG did he love it there wasn't one baby food that he didn't like he absolutely loved all of them I love how you can go in to it every month and choose what you would like for your baby for the plan you selected and i love the boosters that are optional!! i love knowing that my son is getting the best of the best and that he is getting all his vitamins and immune support he needs! and when something gets left out of the box they are so sweet and kind with making sure i get my product that i missed! Words cannot explain how much i love this company and i will use them for as long as I can and for baby in the future I have! I refer everyone I can think of to this company! and if you are septical about it just try the first month if you don't like it you cancel at anytime !! Thank you, Little Spoon for being there for me and my son when there was no one that could help me!!!

I used to love this company in the beginning when my daughter was eating purées. However, as of lately, I think they’re trying to save cost on shipping/packaging and use some outside company not FedEx or UPS. Out of three times of my food being delivered 2 of the times the food was warm and this time I found a nail in my box which punctured me as well as one ice pack for 19 meals. In the past, I’ve reached out to customer service and they were great. The only downfall is I had to wait over a week for new food to get shipped and good business practice is and what should have been done was the food being shipped out ASAP not over a week later. What also is frustrating is that you can’t even speak to a live person on the phone anymore everyone wants to text or email and you have to wait for someone to respond. This time reaching out to customer service via text so far no response. Also, if you are looking for healthy foot for your kid some of the meals are healthy however, check the ingredients because some of them have added gums to them. I will definitely be canceling.

I cannot recommend Little Spoon enough!! I am obsessed, as is my 6 month old!! So many good things to share, where to start?! First off, I’m a mom of two, 2.5 year old and 6 month old. I used to cook and purée all of my first baby’s foods, well there is just no time for that now with another one in the mix. There’s been so many sketchy things about packaged baby foods so it always made me nervous to give my babies foods off the grocery store shelves like Gerber. I constantly kept seeing ads and amazing reviews pop up about Little Spoon all over social media, as well as a lot of influencers I follow backing them and feeding their kids. I figured to make my life a little easier this time around I’d give it a try. Well I loved it from the beginning! Little Spoons website is so easy to navigate (coming from someone who’s not the most tech savvy). I love how I can tailor my baby’s food choices each and every order, as well pausing my next shipment if we go out of town for vacation or whatever reason. There are so many cool purée options that my little one would not be able to try if I were making the purées myself, like guava for example! I’m so excited to try the second stage of purées soon with my little one. The food always comes fast and and still super cold, even frozen. The ice packs are still rock hard. Nothing has ever been damaged or leaking, the packaging is great. One last thing to note is that Little Spoons Customer service is the best! They get back to you within literal minutes (every time I have reached out). They’re super kind and extremely helpful and understanding. Jess helped me with a discount when I reached out saying I was having some concerns with being able to afford it at the moment but how I wanted to continue with Little Spoon so badly because my baby loves it so much. I love that my life got a whole lot easier from not having to worry about prepping baby food and I know he’s getting the very best and cleanest option with Little Spoon. And I also love love love how excited my son gets when he sees his Little Spoon package come out of the fridge! I kid you not, he can tell the packaging a mile away and he just starts going crazy in excitement and happy squeals. Thank you Little Spoon for the awesome job you guys have done and keep doing! Our family...

Little Spoon has been a great option for our family and our first born child! We were really interested in finding a company that made fresh food from simple ingredients that didn't rely on preservatives to make shelf-stable foods. We wanted to make a conscious effort to avoid potentially harmful ingredients and ensure the best possible start for our little one. If you want "I steamed and pureed food for the week" meals for your infant, without the work involved in doing that, this is the company to buy from!

The purees made it so easy to transition her into solids, and were a welcome addition to her diet as she was not a huge fan of cereal. The ability for us to customize the stages of blends, and thicken them as needed to meet her needs was simple and effective. We were able to also track allergens and introduce foods by doing three purees in a row with single ingredient stage 1 purees, and add new ones via stage 2 and 3 until she has basically had more fruits and veggies than most grown adults!

We've graduated now to smoothies and yo-go's, and biteable trays. Our little one has now decided to hold her own smoothie pouches, and happily eats her snacks without fuss! As a parent, I've tasted a few of the pouches and I would eat them over competitive brands snack pouches! Feeding her the biteables makes it super easy to ensure she has her nutritional needs met, and simplifies meal time significantly. The selection is pretty significant too, so we don't have to feed her the same things repeatedly.

All the good things make a brand good... but what really makes Little Spoon great is how they've handled the few hiccups we've had. They have handled the problems with understanding, compassion, and speed. I have never been worried about having food for my child.

We will be using Little Spoon for meals for our child as she gets older and upgrades to plates and snacks, and maybe even...
