I can't believe this store is actually up and ru nning. They don't even know what there doing. Staff is so incompetent and rude that I really feel as if they hired any and all middle aged women and just threw them on the floor with barely any merchandise knowldege or even find out if they have any № customer service skills. They are so slow and are not willing to do any work even when asked to. I got two different answers from the two separate managers. Staff walk around like zombies and walking straight past you after voicing out a question and when I finally was able to get their attention they passed it along to another coworker for no reason im aware of, AS WELL AS A SIMPLE SHRUG from their shoulder really implying that they dont know the answer, that they dont care and that their annoyed i had interupted them. Listen having g Macy's in the bronx is a blessing but in no way did it carry the standards it usually holds from its other locations. Also get ready to have a small. Choice of variety and quantity as the store is pretty empty espicially for this time of year and it's crowded number of shoppers looking to complete their Xmas shopping list. Read moreWhen I first entered the store last Sunday, I wanted to leave immediately for the horrible customer service I was experiencing at first. I was walking around the store for about 20 minutes, and nobody approached me. I went to the men's department to look for a jacket, and I met this young man by the name of Ibrahim. He was extremely helpful! I asked him whether he had discounts for Non-Macy's customers, and he offered me a 25 percent discount if I had left the item in the store till October 12th, which didn't make much sense to me. I disagreed to that, and so he types in something into the computer and tells me "Well, at least I have to give you something." The whole time he was serving me, he was asking whether I had enjoyed my day so far, and that if I had applied for a Macy's credit card, it would have given me additional discounts. I felt bad that I had declined to his offers, but because of him, I want to go back and shop there again! Well I asked for screw backs to be put in. The woman forgot to check for a singnature on the Macys card. For the 20 % discount she said its o.k. Then I wait 2 weeks for earrings .I get a call to come back, put back information for the discont. 2 more weeks a call come pay $54. for the card.they know refused to give me refund. I gotta come back for a supervisor. We are now at 6 WEKKS & NO EARRINGS .Now they want $170. The screw backs ? For what was free screw backs ?? NOW I ONLY WANT MY REFUND !! I GOT IT !!! I walked out of Macys about 10 stores away "ZALES" .I walked in paid $518. in 25 min later I left. The earrings got screw backs in 6 days. I got the earrings BEAUTIFUL & HASSLE FREE !!
