Maeve In June — Local services in New York

Nicole is a hair GENIUS. I cannot say enough about her talent - from cutting to coloring & blending to extensions…she truly gave me the best hair experience I’ve ever had. I never really leave reviews, but I need to go into detail how incredible my experience was. I decided to try someone new after 5+ years with the same colorist - It was nerve wracking but Nicole (and honestly the entire team working there) made me feel so comfortable the entire time. Nicole literally looked up the formula for the color I wanted based off of some references …. If that is not top tier service, idk what is! She nailed the color and the blending - by far the best my hair has turned out. But wait, there’s more! I decided to get extensions for both volume and length. I have super thin / fine hair that was shoulder length, so was a bit nervous about the process and overall end result. I shouldn’t have been. Super painless and quick process for an insanely amazing result. No exaggeration, coworkers who knew I had gotten extensions (my hair can’t go 6 inches overnight) still couldn’t believe they were extensions - they were THAT well matched and blended. I am so long overdue for writing a review, I've been going to Maeve in June religiously for almost two years now. I followed Sami there from her previous salon (she absolutely ROCKS) and truly this place has incredible talent and vibes from top down... owner to stylists to assistants.

I've had ginger, red, purple, burgundy, highlights, haircuts, bangs, layers, blowouts, you name it I've had it done at Maeve in June, and it's always been done beautifully. The most important part is they communicate, check in, and will adjust to accommodate what you want. I get complimented all the time on my cut and color, so I send my friends, strangers, and my own mother to Sami to get their hair done and they're returning clients.

Everyone works together to support each other too and it's the most positive salon environment I've witnessed. I've never been such a loyal customer anywhere, and I've actually built relationships with the employees outside of just Sami. We'll even hang out on the stoop together when my hair is processing and chit chat.

Ladies when I tell you to RUN not walk to Maeve in June, I’m not kidding. My sister is my hairstylist so when I moved away from home I was terrified to find a new one. I tried a different salon in the city first and my hair was completely butchered…. Hated the cut and was miserable for months. After trying everything under the sun to deal with it and nothing helping, I then did some research on extensions to hopefully help with my now shattered self esteem and stumbled upon Lia’s page. I am SO glad I did. Lia is a hair guru and absolute life saver. Mind you, I came in with a butchered bob. Lia brought my hair to life and really listened to my concerns/needs - but don’t take my word for it - the pictures I added do it justice as you genuinely cannot tell that I have extensions. Not only is she a complete TALENT with extensions and color but she is gentle and kind and knowledgeable. I would recommend Lia to anyone, anytime, and hope you do go to see her at some point because she will make you feel like a...
