To whom it may concern! When I was a young man in public school, I read a book called "The Emporers Clothes". That of course was many, many years ago. The point is that my mother although very young did her part and kept myself as well as my siblings very well dressed! That is something I appreciated up until today. I do not like the way men's haberdashery is made today, with the lapels to high, whether it's a notch or peak lapels 🤔. It made me wonder what has happened to good 'ol classic men's wear, where the trousers skinny out down your leg, as if you're wearing tights like a ballerina dancer. THAT IS NOT THE WAY A GENTLEMAN SHOULD BE WEARING HIS CLOTHING!!! I like good well fitting clothing... clothing that fits properly respectfully, decently. Clothing that leaves one's dignity and integrity in tact. Good stylish, conservative clothing were ones individual style is brought forth. Where that person, that individual can bring forth their uniqueness and show off their flare for style. Let me be the first, and I won't be the last to tell you about the Best Tailor in New York City, if not the world. You will find them on the internet... oh, I'm sorry the World Wide 🌐 (web). They are world renowned. All I was able to rate them was 5 🌟. If you are reading this review, let me tell you, they deserve 10 🌟 🤩 easily. They are my Tailor's for the rest of my natural life. With 10 Tailor made suits in my wardrobe and counting. There could be only one Tailor Suit Shop I'm giving very high praise to, and that Tailor shop is: "Mahon's Custom Tailors" here in the "Big Apple." If you want to make an investment in Good Standardized Custom Made Clothing, that's the place you need to head too. I tell you, and please heed my words: "you will not be sorry." It is the very best thing you ever can do for yourself. Mohan's... simply put is the very best Tailor in the 🌎 as we know it!!! 'Nuff said!!!...

I first encountered Mohan's when I lost some weight and needed to get a few of my pants tailored. This was my test run. Their overwhelmingly positive reviews piqued my interest. They were thorough and the pants were tailored to perfection!

About six months later I needed to get new suits as none of my old suits fit me, and I was also ready to level-up my style. Mohan's worked around my schedule and even accommodated me to come in on Sunday when they are normally closed, as I had very little availability. The gentleman that measured me took tons of extra measurements that are not standard and took pictures and notes based on the particular measurements that made my size/fit unique. Along the way he shared some good stories of his decades of experience from India, to Hong Kong, and New York City. He was transparent about pricing and what to expect on timing. Where I was unsure of particular styling decisions, he helped recommend what is popular but also what might look good on me.

A few weeks later my suits came in. Now we had already worked out a deal for 3 suits for the price of 2. They were originally over my price range but with the deal I could at least justify this, especially given their success and track record with celebrities all looking great.

Holy smokes. Once I tried the suits on I immediately understood the hype, the extra attention to detail, and the higher price tag. These suits fit me to perfection and have a timeless fashion. I need to get a job in finance and find new friends to go to their weddings because damn, these suits are incredible. I want to wear them all the time. I'll only shop with Mohan's from now on and can't recommend them highly enough. The only exception is if you want just some simple suit at a ridiculous bargain, but I'm sure they'd happily work with lower budgets, too.

I have seen the commercials and heard many recommendations about this place growing up and when it was my turn to get married I thought about stopping by. I came to Mohan’s after shopping around everywhere for a tuxedo worthy of my wedding. I have tried other retailers that offer “custom/bespoke” suits and tuxedos such as SuitSupply and Indochino, but did not get the attention to detail or quality the same way they provided me here.

The attention to detail is the best part about this place. They really look to not only fit you to your body measurements, but speak to you about your style and needs. I showed them 1 picture and they instantly knew what to do.

This is the attention to detail that they provided. I was measured head to toe. They knew that I cared about where I wanted my watch to shine on my wrist so they took that into account. I wanted my custom tuxedo shirt to rise right above my watch. They really paid attention to how my legs shaped and I usually have a hard tome finding pants that are made to my exact measurements. Additionally, they walked me through the various fabrics and explained each one to me. and NEVER oversold the more expensive fabrics.

I ended up that same day making a decision. I got a beautiful bespoke midnight blue tuxedo, custom bowtie and custom shirt all at a very affordable price. They were able to not deliver fast on all 3, but also provided suggestions on alterations on the shirt and tuxedo as well. They made suggestions that I didn’t think of that made me go “wow I didn’t think of that”

Overall a very satisfied customer and will be definitely coming back for more suits and jackets. Trust me there is a reason they have such a prestigious reputation after all...
