Check your receipts! Yet another debacle today. A young man- in- training was checking me out as I purchased three .99 cent sodas in cans. I was charged an additional .90 for bottle deposit. Huh? It should have been .15 cents ( 3 x .05). When i questioned it, the manager on call said the register charged me .30 per can which was the six-pack charge. Ok, well, I'm buying 3 single cans off the shelf priced at .99 cents each. He kept repeating himself. In short, the register was wrong, and instead of fixing the issue he kept mentioning it was pricing the 6 pack deposit price for each can. The simple solution was to just charge me the correct total amount of 3.09 (2.94 for sodas and .15 for deposit)--which he didn't.

Huge store, poorly labeled aisles, staff doesn’t know where items are located, bored, indifferent service. Compared with the eager-to-please Whole Foods personnel cannot compete, adding in the service in butcher, fish, cheese, helpfulness. Prices seem slightly lower, but quality in fruit, produce, dairy definitely lower than Whole Foods.
