I made the awful mistake of going here for yom kippur. The rabbi at the end of the holiday wanted to have enough people in the room for a minyan - so he delayed the shofar blowing by 20 minutes to do a kiddush and minyan while 200 people consequentially delayed their fast that much longer. One of the most disrespectful acts I’ve experienced on what is already a difficult and important day - and made even worse by when he smirked at how clever he was.
