Most Holy Trinity - St. Mary Roman Catholic Church — Local services in New York

In normal times, this would be the parish church I should be going to. The high altar is very beautiful. If this was 60 or 70 years back, I would be in love with this particular church. The tragic fact is, this church is under the Novus Ordo, and the high altar is just a mere decorative piece. If I remember, there are side altars as well which are beautiful. On occasion, when I used to attend the Novus Ordo, I would go to this church. Attending the Novus Ordo is something very weird and heartbreaking. Catholicism does not exist in this church, what you have are invalid priests and an invalid "mass". The last time I went to "mass" was in a Sunday afternoon english service, you had modern music and there was very much a lack of reverence. I have just arrived home from Mass at Most Holy Trinity-St Mary Roman Catholic Church on Montrose Ave in East Williamsburg Brooklyn. The beauty and energy of the Mass I am sure will stay with me for the week. Friar Rick’s Homily was so personal and relatable to everyone in the church. The congregation was welcoming. Well if you’re in need from the food pantry don’t go to the Trinity food pantry they will turn you away if you have no “appointment”! I explained I didn’t know I needed an appointment and the receptionist who was very nasty toward me said I couldn’t get any food! I told her I have children and she still turned me away!
