Racist Vibes. Stare downs and bad energy 😒 by your own fellow Latinos 😒 I went here b/c I really wanted Peruvian food. I have twin daughters and it was a rainy day so we looked a bit disheveled. We are afro Latinas, when your hair is straight and it gets wet it frizzes so we all had messy hair. I ordered yuca fries salchipapas and Lomo saltado. The yuca fries and french fries are pre made frezzer bag sides. The salchipapas are regular oscar franks not peruvian sausage. I did not like that but when the waiter came to the table and asked is everything fine I said yes everything is fine cause what am I going to do demand real sausages. I left it as is grateful for my food. I didn't want to make it a big deal. Even the Lomo saltado had a few strips of steak but was mostly onions. Food Quality 0 out of 10. The original 2 male servers we had were ok 5 out of 10 however I notice the manager staring at me and my kids like he was keeping an eye on us. It comes time to pay. They bring the check. We were seated by the door. I get up to get my card out my coat pocket, I notice a girl server go and block the door and the manager is staring me down. I think they thought I was going to run. I have had dinners all over the world even in Peru or Dubai and I have never experienced or felt this way. Anyways I noticed and the people at the next table noticed as well. I paid and I felt like a criminal for some reason like I was trespassing or I didn't belong there. It's very disheartening to experience this with your fellow Latinos. I would NEVER eat here again & I'm making a tik tok. I wanted to get out of there so fast I left my food behind. The lovely people at the table next to me reminded me while I was half way out the door. They could tell too what was going on. I would have spent atleast 200 on some gooooooooood authentic Peruvian food. But I spent 110 to be racially profiled and eat frezzer fries. If you're of color...
Read moreI ordered through Uber Eats, and they put the wrong order in my bag. The receipt still had my name and order, but inside was someone else’s order entirely, which I was allergic to. I called to ask if they could correct my order. First, they just left me on the line for 3 minutes after saying “excuse me.” When I hung up and called again, they blamed the delivery guy, lied, and argued, barely letting me get in a word.
I politely explained that there was an honest mistake that they stapled my Uber Eats receipt onto someone else’s order. They refused to admit that they made a mistake, and kept making this ridiculous claim that it was the delivery man’s fault — that the delivery man somehow “switched the receipts” stapled on the bags to cover up that he accidentally delivered the wrong order. Not only is that a lie, it also a bad one that makes no sense. How could a delivery guy remove, switch, and restaple receipts on orders that he already delivered? It left such a bitter taste in my mouth that they would try to blame the delivery guy instead of just admitting that they packaged and labeled the wrong order.
They refused to re-send my correct order because they wanted the Uber Eats delivery guy fix their mistake by biking back and forth to switch my order with the other customer’s order.
The food is good, which is why I order from there. But I will never order from a place run by dishonest people who are willing to throw other people under the bus. I can’t believe they tried to blame the Uber Eats delivery person with a lie that made no sense, and then they had the audacity to argue with me about it, after I had already said that it was okay. It was okay since it was their honest mistake, but I still wanted my actual order because I was allergic to the order that I received. Now I...
