I never leave bad reviews but I feel this one was needed. I left my last visit in shock. I had emailed the office and called 3 times the next day when I was not getting a reply back about my blood work. It was very urgent because I'm having a surgery and the surgery center needs it. My last phone call was right before they were closing and I let the secretary know I was disappointed that I hadn't heard back. That was literally all I said. I ended up hearing from the office and got a response not about my bloodwork but to let me know it wasn't ok for me to express that I was disappointed? After I was told they could not even find my email where I attached what the surgery center needed finally they gave me the response of letting me know I needed more blood work. I went to the office the next day and was greeted by Dr. Liakeas in a way I had never seen before. He let me know he had a major issue that I used the word disappointed and implied that I was very angry over the phone which is the farthest thing from the truth. Whoever gave him that message exaggerated a whole lot. I literally just said I was disappointed as in I was sad to not hear back because it was urgent. In my opinion that wasn't a big deal to say but wow was I wrong!!! The doctor basically let me know that this was no longer the office for me. He also let me know he wanted to put me in my place for using that word. And kept persisting to put words in my mouth about what I meant when I said the word disappointed. He kept telling me I was very angry over the phone. It's pretty crazy because it's so far from the truth. Also when I denied all of that and let him know that I explained to the secretary that it was urgent he let me know that she never relayed that part of the message. So she exaggerated how our conversation went on the phone but all day that I waited she couldn't mention that it was urgent? At the end the doctor kind of giggled and said I'll go yell at whoever relayed the message incorrectly. I have to say I did feel as though I was being yelled at the whole visit. He was speaking very disrespectfully to me and I'm still in disbelief. I would no longer recommend this doctor to anyone. No doctor should try to put a patient in their place. I am not his employee or his daughter and I don't know who he thinks he is to talk to me the way he did. A real doctor would not act this way. I have to say this was the most unprofessional encounter I have ever had with any doctor I have ever been to. The best part is he did more blood work for me that day and I asked him if he had the fax number and if he will send it over. He said yes I'll send that over. After expressing how important it was to send it over right away guess what? A whole week goes by and he still hasn't faxed it over. I had to call the office to find out they needed a release form then it was finally sent over. He didn't think to mention that in person? I would recommend going elsewhere!
FYI no other doctor needs me to pay a 'concierge membership fee' for better...
Read moreI have been going to this location for the past 15 years when Dr Liakeas was running it. I Never had any issues with communication and care. Recently I had an annual physical that's when I noticed that standards and procedures have changed for the worst. It took 3 business days for someone to answer the phone. Being put on hold for 15-20 minutes at a time (red light, but i gave them a chance). Anyone who visited this location knows that at any given time the most patients in the waiting room is 4-5 and usually they're 2 receptionist at the desk, so I didn't understand why my calls are not being answered. Finally someone answered and I got to scheduled for an appointment. During my visit the usual was done, vitals checked, blood drawn and urine submitted. When I received the results of my blood work from quest diagnostic they was a charge of $1,500 due to nobody took the time to enter my insurance information with the lab work. I Tried to reach out to Dr Reddy to go over my lab results and I was told that he do not do virtual visits or phone calls so I would have to schedule an appointment and come into the office to discuss the results of my lab work. I was told that another $40 copay is required upon visit. When Dr Liakeas oversaw this location, i would get an email from the lab and approximately 24 - 48 hours later i would receive a call from Dr Liakeas to go over the results. Nice and professional. I Never had to pay anything for a doctor to go over blood work. I thought that was part of the physical. One day I was in the area and I stopped by unexpectedly. Before I got on the elevator i called the desk and nobody answered, i kept the phone call open until I reached the reception. When I got to the receptionist desk they were 2 ladies sitting there. As I was standing there I can hear the phone ringing but very low as if the volume was turned down. I ask the receptionist is there an issue with the phone because l have been calling and nobody answers. At that time she looked over to the phone and became aggravated and read off my information. That's when she stated that they're having issues with the phone that's why my calls are not being answered. I have been calling since 8/25/25, the phone was answered on 8/27/25 for an appointment on 8/29/25. I'm aware that phone lines can give problems at times, but from 8/25/25 until 9/15/25 when I walked into the office the alleged phone issue existed at a doctors office where people call for important information and make appointments is hard to believe. When you're use to professional and personable medical care and then there's an drastic change you notice it. I want to thank Dr Liakeas for his attentiveness, professionalism and care i received the...
Read moreI have been going to Dr. Liakeas for about 8 years now. When I first started going, and for the last 5 years or so I've only had great experiences. Dr. Liakeas would actually come in to check on me during some physicals, and the service was always great.
Over the last few weeks, I have had an awful experience. I went in for a physical, and I sat waiting in the check-up room for about an hour. A young nurse walks in to ask questions and take my blood pressure, and she seemed very inexperienced. She put the blood pressure device around my elbow, which I thought didn't feel right. Shes takes my blood pressure, and its through the roof. I've always had low blood pressure. She seems concerned but she says the doctor will take it again later. When the doctor finally comes in she take the blood pressure, and wraps it around my arm, and low and behold, my blood pressure is normal. The doctor feels around my back and stomach as normal, checks my breathing and says I am good to go. I ask about my blood test, and she says they no longer do blood tests in house. So I now go to a physical to just spend 2 minutes getting my breathing checked?
As part of my check-up I indicatedt that I have terrible insomnia, so they prescribe me trazadone. Trazadone is an anti-anxiety medication, that is helpful for sleep in lower doses. When I pickup my prescription, I see I have 100mg tablets, and says take twice daily. I immediately suspect something is off since I am taking it for sleep. I take one pill before I go to bed, and although I slept well, I felt like I got hit by a truck the next day. When I asked friends what dosage they take, they said 25-50mg.
I call the doctor's office to ask to speak to a doctor to understand if they screwed up the prescription, and to also get a prescription to get my blood test. They said a doctor would call me back shortly. 3 days pass, and I hear nothing. I call back again and say I am extremely disapointed with the service recently, and that I want to speak to someone immediately, and that I want all my medical records sent to me so I can switch doctors. They apologize and say an office manager will call me immediately. Its been 24 hours and I still have not heard from anyone. Absolutely ridiculous, this place has gone...
