My Tree House — Local services in New York

When looking for a daycare, especially as first-time parents, the safety and happiness of your children were the top priorities for us and My Tree House provided exactly that. Our now almost 4 y.o son and our 1 y.o daughter went/are going to MTH. Both the management and teachers are great! Because this learning center is on the smaller side, they’ve managed to create a great sense of community and we’ve become friends with many other parents. They are also very flexible and accommodating which really helps. The wellbeing and safety of the children is paramount to mister Robert and all the teachers at the center. They all care for our kids like if they were their own. They are always trying to innovate to make the kids’ day entertaining. Most teachers have been around for years and seen our kids grow They share many pictures and update throughout the day via the Brightwheel app. The best testimony is not this one but the big smile on our kids’ faces when they see their teachers and or mister Robert in the morning. Our son had to leave the center when he turned 3 and although he very much enjoys his current school, he still talks foundly about miss Erica, miss Julie and miss Kim and of course mister Robert and is always happy to go back to pick up his little sister. To see him run to hug his now ex-teachers confirms that we made the right choice when we first picked My Tree House...

I absolutely love My Tree House. I might be one of their biggest fans. I always recommend them to families in LIC with young babies and kids. Our little one was exclusively watched by family members at home and they were amazing with the transition. The staff is understanding, caring and wonderful! During his first few months of transition, the whole staff was patient, gentle and loving with my little one. The teachers are incredibly attentive at explaining acceptable and unacceptable behavior as my little one reached his terrible twos. They take tons of pictures during the day so you can see what your little one is up to and very diligent at recording diapers. I really don't know how they do it! My little one loves all of them and often speaks about his classmates and teachers at home :)

The owners, Robert and Mihaela, are completely devoted to kids! Robert even greets the kids in the morning with the biggest smile and is incredibly involved with the day to day. He really sympathizes with working parents and loves the kids! What more could you ask for ?!?

They also provide breakfast, snacks and catered lunch for the kids! None of the LIC daycares provide hot lunch which is an added bonus for working parents! I cannot say enough amazing things about...

Choosing My Tree House as our baby’s first daycare experience was one of the best decisions we’ve made as a family. From the very first day, my little one arrived with a huge smile and so much excitement to see his teachers—it was clear he felt safe, loved, and truly happy there.

The care and dedication of the staff made a world of difference during such an important transition. The teachers were incredibly patient and nurturing, especially during the introduction of solids. They supported and motivated him with so much warmth, making each milestone feel achievable and celebrated.

The structured yet gentle routine of the daycare provided our baby with a sense of security and comfort, helping him settle in much quicker than we ever imagined. As a parent, that peace of mind is priceless.

Beyond the classroom, the entire team was always flexible, understanding, and ready to help in any way they could. Their support extended to our whole family, and for that, we are truly grateful.
