I came here for the first time today and will NEVER go back again. The man at the first table on the left when you walk in did my nails. He was completely unprofessional and threatening to me and should probably not be working in any establishment with customers until he has his anger and aggression in check.
There were several people waiting for him after me so I guess he’s popular but he did a rushed job on my nails. Not sure if the few photos I took show it well, but the acrylic was not covering the nails fully on the sides and most of the nails looked like that. I was already seated by the dryer when I noticed and he had already started the next person’s nails so I called another employee over to look at them and she agreed to fix it — just file my nails on the sides so it’s flush with the acrylic and then repaint them.
From the moment she acknowledged my issue with the nails, he was yelling back and forth with her in their language until he got up, walked over to me and proceeded to SCREAM at me “ten dollars to change the color. The job was already done.” I asked him why he was yelling, she had to remove the polish to file my nails and the problem was not the color but the nails. He walked away and by this time I was almost in tears asking the woman to just soak off the acrylic at that point so I can get my nails done over somewhere else, but she insisted she would fix it and she did.
While she was repainting my nails this man came over completely red in the face and screamed at me AGAIN about the $10 color change fee, to which I raised my voice back at him to stop yelling at me I’m getting the same color. Absolutely horrendous service and I have never felt so unsafe in a nail salon. If I am paying you for a service the absolute least you could do is provide it adequately.
My gratitude goes out to the woman who fixed my nails, I’m so sorry he screamed at you as well; no one deserves to be spoken to like that within the workplace. When I told her what I wanted, she did it, but with hesitation. I also had a pedicure, I think her name was Oko. I wish I had never got the pedicure. She didn’t trim my toenails down as much as I asked and pedicures are supposed to be soothing and she had me stressed. I would give Lilly a 2.5 and Oko a 0.
