So I’ve been going to braided for years when she was doing hair in her apartment I had an appointment in January and last min it got canceled I was going away I had no choice but to reschedule to somebody else in the shop which I was definitely iffy about because nobody braids like. Xia and also it should be a different price for the other Braiders if it’s not xia because my hair didn’t look nothing like what I get from xia the style I wanted the receptionist said it was more because it was a design which they never stated that now it says that on the website because of me I was in that shop for like 6 hours or more for 10 braids! The girl who did my hair messed up and had to take it out and do it over she put so much jam in my hair it was hard smh when I tell you I was so upset I had to call my mother before I flipped out and she called and spoke to the receptionist that lady before I called my mother wasn’t trying to give me a discount or nothing I wasn’t about to pay 2 something for this hair style I had a wake to go to couldn’t make it because I was in the shop all day the customer service needs to be better I was very disappointed and I emailed xia thinking she would answer but it was the receptionist again saying that xia would see it but I know she never did the first picture is what I asked for second picture is what she did and had to take out and the last picture was...
Read moreGreat work, but unprofessional. Very Unaccommodating. I’ve been rescheduled last minute, I’ve been canceled the same day and promised a free style for the inconvenience. Reached out multiple times and never heard back. Eventually stopped because it was never about free work, just the work I paid for. Neither did I get my deposit back from this canceled appointment . Ended up not walking in the wedding merely attended. This weekend my child care fell through last minute and almost immediately my card was charged the full price. Mind you this is a place I’ve sat in hours after my scheduled appointment. Only to now have that braider take a million phone and text breaks in between braids. I’ve come in for my time and the damn gate was down!! Quality work shouldn’t big your head up so much to the point where your customer suffers. And you should be able to accommodate the people who have been so flexible with your lack of professionalism! Black businesses really need to do better, as much as I’ve loved the clean work, it’s no longer worth it. Read morePOOR CUSTOMER SERVICE…I have been trying to contact the salon (via IG) regarding an upcoming appointment on 7/30 and instead of responding to my request to reschedule my appointment they have chosen to ignore my DM and report both of my comments on their IG page as fraudulent-stating that my comment goes against community guidelines. We as a community need to do better.

I attempted to contact the salon via the telephone number on google but did not receive a response, which is why I attempted to contact the salon via IG.
In regards to instagram…I received two separate notifications stating that my comment was “reported” so miss me with the “take it up with instagram”. Someone from your team specifically reported my comment 2 min after leaving it TWICE. Coincidence, I think not.
In regards to an email address, there is no email address in my confirmation email. Maybe the auto-reply email template should be updated. I have a better idea…how about update the booking link to allow for changes to an upcoming appointment that is more than 48 hours out given that this is YOUR booking policy.
Lastly, I find it interesting that every time I leave a public comment/review I get a “response” in a timely manner but it’s very difficult to reach a real life person when I want to simply reschedule my appointment. Make...
