It's a no for me. I went in as a walk-in. I didn't have an appointment so they sent me with this young lady. Her customer service was excellent she even asked if liked the length and she was ready to fix it. I wasn't really paying attention and to the time (scrolling on TikTok) so when I looked up I realized I've been sitting there for 2 1/2 hours and I only had acrylic on one hand. It was very bulky and uneven. You could tell she was a beginner. After 3 hours (nails still not finished) I said had to go I can't do this anymore I don't want it. I gave the young lady $30 for her time and the boss said to come back tomorrow and she would fix it. I went back the next day and the boss filed my nails down and just painted it. It was still bulky. I said you know what let me get it over with. As soon as I got home to paint started chipping, I will not be returning because now I have to pay to get it taken off...

Had the pleasure of getting my nails done here just a couple of weeks ago. the set came out beautifully and I absolutely loved it, however when I took them off I had fungus on my nails… never have I ever in all my years of getting acrylic nails have I EVER had to deal with fungus, until booking with this establishment. The space itself isn’t all that clean either, when you first walk in it smells like they have animals.. not sure if it’s the fish tanks or what but the smell wasn’t pleasant. Then there’s just a bunch of stuff piled up everywhere around the work stations, which was a little off putting and spoke to the overall cleanliness/organization. Overall, the staff was very kind, warm, welcoming, and hospitable, and i loved the nails! however, I do not see myself booking here again due to the...

I’m adopting Moet ! I visited her to do my birthday nails and this is the best experience I’ve ever had a nail salon. She’s so welcoming & patient! I changed my mind a few times about what design I wanted and she showed me nothing less of compassion even though she had to redo the nail. Usually the other nail salons would suck their teeth , charge more or say something in another language to their coworker but Moet let me be my indecisive self and she handled me with kindness and patience. Overall she just wanted me to be happy with my nails which spoke volumes because other places do not care that much. It’s been more than a month now and the nails are still on , no chipping or breaking, I can never go to a regular nail salon again. Moet...

Pick a color nail studio located in the heart of Brooklyn and knows exactly what they are doing. The owner Taylor is hands on with her students and willing to lend a helping hand to all technicians. The vibes are great and atmosphere is very home-ish. And let's take time to talk about the great Ameisha who since her first time at the shop hooked my nails up!! Yes the prices are slightly on the high side but you are getting your money's worth when you come to Pick a color. And if you ever need more persuading the owner is a young talented woman or Color slaying the nail tech game. And they also have apprenticeship for people who wants to learn the skill as well. Tell them nickiie sent you.

Pretty frustrated with my experience - I got a gen mani with a design and not only did it take well over 2 hours and cost nearly $200 the design fell apart less than 12 hours later - the sequins fell off, I went in and got them put back on and the artist added another layer of chrome too (which was a nice gesture) but the added chrome created puckers and wrinkles and cracked two days later… and the sequins just fell off again as well. Then, the top coat started peeling off. I’ve never had this many issues with gel! They all seemed very nice and were accommodating but the end result was pretty disappointing. My attached photos are from less than 5 days after getting the manicure itself.
