New York Mets Ticket Office — Local services in New York

You can get tickets here to go to any game or event held within the confines of CitiField, which as of 2012 is the newest, high technology stadium where our beloved New York Metropolitans of the National League circuit of Major League Baseball. To be completely honest, I actually prefer to buy my tickets online on stubhub or any other major event ticket buying and selling website or application, but at the same time in the same tolken, I've went to the park (this park) on the day of the game, after spontaneously deciding I wanted to go catch the game, and purchased my tickets at this gate. First of all the staff was great, extremely courteous, very patient with me because on some days, especially the Aug 12th 2018 game I went to with my sister and nephew , I can be a handful to deal with. WORST EVER SERVICE from the ticketing agents or managers. If I could give negative stars, I would. They just don’t care. They take your large non-refundable deposit and don’t call back for weeks on end. In 2023, we had a party of about 20 people. They confirmed our seats over the Mets dugout, and we get there and we are over the visitor dugout. Not even an apology. Got a new ticketing agent, same thing happened in 2024-over the wrong dugout AGAIN. No apology. This year we lost a Saturday date because the agent went on vacation and another agent took our date so now we have to go out to 20 people and ask if they are available for a Sunday game instead of the preferred Saturday game. The Mets need to hire more competent people....

A game from September last year was rained out and I was told that I would receive a digital voucher. I never received it. When I recently spoke to the ticket office about this because I wanted to redeem my tickets for an upcoming game, I was told that I am ineligible to redeem my tickets because they have “expired” and I am no longer allowed to make them up. Why would a digital voucher that allows you to put it toward a 2024 game expire if the 2024 season isn’t over yet?

So I am now out $50 and the ticket office offered no help. Didn’t offer me at least a credit. You seriously need to fix your policy because customers are the backbone of it all; you wouldn’t have a team without...
