So much single use plastic! 🤢I enjoyed the space and its proximity to the game, but was appalled to see so much waste created by folks (myself included) only there for an hour.
By now we all know that over 90% plastics are NOT recycled. They instead break into microplastics that leach into the water we drink and into our bodies. Or, they get sent to landfills or into our oceans.
I hope your business can consider cleaner, greener, and more circular options for folks trying to enjoy a delicious beer without poisoning their bodies or trashing our city.
There are circular cup services like Cup Zero you could work with, or you could provide corn-based or compostable cups as well as designated receptacles for them so they can actually be composted. Or of course, providing real glasses that can be washed and reused indefinitely.
Thanks for considering better, more empowering options...
Read moreNO entry to this spot after you’re inside Citi Field! The description says this place is on Floor 1 of Citi Field but that is misleading — you cannot access it from within Citi Field after scanning your ticket. Must enter the brewery from the outside sidewalk, then exit and go to a ticket entrance for the game when you’re ready. Great beer selection and fun place to be before a game (or before a US Open match across the street). The spicy fries are very good but overseasoned, and the chicken sandwiches and burgers are too small and not high quality enough for their price… but it’s a ballpark so to be expected, just go for the brews and big open space...
Read moreI liked Mikkeller. But I like Ebbs better! Mikkeller had way too many choices. Ebbs keeps it simple, but the all the beers I've had are first-rate. It's packed after the games but is a fantastic spot to hit before the game. A had one of their Stouts yesterday, and it was terrific. You're not finding a Stout like that inside the ballpark. I just wish there was Ebbs access from within the ballpark. Or even a service window facing into to Citi Field. In fact, it's surprising that the Ebb's beers are not prevalent inside the stadium....
