I've been going to Nick & Son for over 3 years now. My mom took me here because she knew Orchard Street was the place to go. After getting bullied into stores we felt uncomfortable and were ready to leave but we said one more store. We made the right choice stepping into Nick & Son. I bought a suit for my college graduation and let's just say I was a bit big. Nick was the nicest guy and cared how I looked in a suit not how big I was. He can measure you by eye as well. Try finding someone that can do that at an department store. Everyone is extremely professional and you get old school customer service, caring and charisma you would not believe. Since that time 3 years ago I've lost a significant amount of weight and needed another suit. Not only did they recognize me after such a long time they remembered when they saw me last and what I bought and my stories. I wish my doctor had that kind of service. Their prices are great, selection is fantastic they have even more items in the shop, i'd buy online but its definitely worth the time to meet these guys. Nick & Son is a nice place for leather jacket in New York, probably the best place for tourists, especially when you have your target jacket looking for a retail store.

I'm from Hong Kong, coming along to New York to look for a Schott Leather jacket, because of my skinny body, I can't trust the online store & I must do the fitting before buying. But there's nowhere in NYC that I can find a size 34 Schott jacket... The smallest I could find is size 38 and actually everywhere selling size 41 or up. So Nick & Son is the best place there! The nice Nick's' knew my request and ordered a few different size (32,34...) for me immediately so I could try the fitting on the following day. They actually went to the Schott factory just to get a few jackets for me to fit in! At the end I got the Schott 141 in size 34 that I've dreamed of before leaving U.S.A

So for the tourists looking for Schott jacket that you can't find on web or anywhere else (especially deadstock small sizes for Asian), go to Nick & Son then they'll do anything to get you the jacket!
