i was so excited to see my favorite artist on their album release show, and rsvped tickets literally 40 seconds after they posted it. i have been looking forward to this event all week. i wasted my whole day getting ready and driving 2hrs from NJ just to be turned away at the door with an RSVP ticket. they posted 40 MINUTES before the show that a ticket to the show actually doesnt mean anything and you have to be first in line. to top it all off me and my girlfriend were the last 4 people left to get into building and i literally cried in the streets of new york on the phone with my mom in the pouring rain right outside the venue. literally wasted $60 dollars in tolls, all my gas, parking, and drained my bank account to get here. safe to say any other concert i see being played at nightclub 101 i 1000% will not be going. and ill make sure to tell literally everyone i know about it too 🩷 thank you nightclub 101 for ruining my day and night and leaving a bad memory in my head that i will never forget. please if youre reading this, do yourself a favor and stay away...
Read moreI went here to see MØ perform a couple of weeks ago, nice venue, however the bar situation is terrible. I would have missed half the show waiting for a drink from one bartender so I decided to go back to the show until the bar died down with less people. NOPE not amazing, the bartender was having a conversation with a coworker, I'm waiting patiently for them to finish talking, he clearly sees me standing directly in front of him and he decides to serve someone else who had literally just walked up to the bar. I dont know if its because I was black but there was no mistaking that I was already waiting for a drink and literally standing right in front of him. The person whom he did serve thankfully told him that I was clearly before him. I won't be back unfortunately because first impression...
Read moreWhy allow people to rsvp free tickets if they don’t mean anything? My girlfriend and I spent hours getting ready & drove 2 hours into the city from jersey having tickets (that apparently meant nothing (wish we knew that lol)) finally found parking close to the venue and got in line in the rain and we were about 3 people from the front when they started turning people away for capacity. The concept of a free show is great especially in these times but this is absolutely not the way to go about it. I genuinely do not understand the point of rsvping if tickets weren’t being checked at the door anyway ? Super disappointing outcome and we will definitely not be returning...
