From the minute I walked into this place I was disgusted. These ppl should not own a pet shop, they only want the money and do not care about the pets. My friend asked me to find him a yorkie if not I would not even went in. I asked if they had Yorkies, the lady took me up two long flights of stairs and went to a little dark room and brought out a teacup yorkie. She was so frightened and boney. When I held her she reeked like nothing but cigarettes, you could of seen the black in her ears and the smell that came out of them was even worse. When the lady put her down she couldn't walk. We thought she had health issues but itâs because she was never let out of a cage from the time she was born. She kept falling with every step she took. I was heartbroken. I asked the lady how much did she weigh because all you felt was bones and she said no more than 2lbs. I looked at my hubby & said we must take her, this is wrong and neglectful. The lady said she smelled like cigarettes because the man that was there would smoke in that room where she was kept in the dark all day. I couldn't bare the thought. I questioned the man and he said âshe will be okayâ and I told him that's neglect, she's under 2lbs and her ears are black. She was so dirty. Lady said $1800 for her in which we told her we can take her for $1500, she said no. I told my hubby letâs just pay the $1800 and get her out of here. It took her over 3 hours to walk in my house, my hubby kept walking back and forth until she got the hang of it. I gave her a bath immediately and took her to the vet the next day to get checked. She had ear mites and yeast build up in her ears. 14 Q-tips later and her ears were still coming out black. Can you imagine?? 2 days later they called me her poop results came back with Parasites so more meds for that. We spent over $800 in medical to get her updated plus her vaccines. The friend I went to get the yorkie for said he could not take her now so we made the decision to forever home her. We named her Bella, she has been with us 2 months now and is so happy, gaining weight [now weighing 2.3lbs] and running around the house enjoying life. I guess thatâs the only thing this place did good was let me find her. She is my forever baby now. BE CAREFUL BUYING FROM THIS DIRTY NEGLECTFUL PLACE. THEY SHOULD...
Read morePLEASE DO NOT BUY PUPPIES FROM THIS STORE. At first when I came to this store to get a puppy, stuff were very friendly and get me all the puppies I wanted to see and play with. The problem is that the Boston terrier puppy I bought was already infected with PARVO virus and on the second day had diarrhea and vomiting. I did not have any other choice, but to bring him at the emergency clinic at 12 at night. When doctor told me that he is positive for PARVO I wanted to cry. Next day we came back to the store where I met very different looks compared to my initial visit. First I did saw a guy that is taking care of these puppies, I told him that my puppy is sick with PARVO, he reacted crazy, he told me that it cannot be and that this puppy is healthy as all the other puppies they have. I did show him a result from the veterinary clinic, he saw it and run away on the second floor. After about 10 minutes the manager arrived, looked at the puppy and said that he looks very healthy to her. After seeing a result she said that this test is not 100% reliable. I told her that probably a licensed veterinarian knows better what is reliable or not, she closed the topic and offered me money back. She did not want to return the money that I spend for the emergency services to keep this puppy alive saying that we needed to go to their vet that does not operate at night. Basically speaking I needed to wait all night so this puppy will die and bring her the dead puppy. That was crazy experience and I still very disappointed about this poor dog. PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE...
Read moreThis place is horrible! Everything is overpriced and the animals don't have enough room to live in. I personally own 3 turtles that are very small and the size of 3-4 fingers and they live in a 40 gallon tank and when I got the tank from petco, the person that helped me told me that even that is a bit small for them but it's good enough, and when I went to Northern Aquarium, they had 5 very large turtles with a diameter of 4-6 inches living in just one tank that was maybe even a bit smaller than 40 gallons. I don't even know if they were meant to be seen because they were all the way in the dark back corner of the room and a pole was blocking the turtles too. I honestly couldn't believe my eyes. The larger fishes didn't have that much room either and they were just piled on one another. They really don't care about their animals besides the animals that can be seen like the fish. This place should be shut down forever because they obviously just want money and treat their unseen...
