Definitely one of the best experience for bubble tea. Some great things despite there could be improvement, but overall still a 5 star!
You can tell that this is a great tea shop the moment you stepped into the store and the inviting natural aroma of brewing tea. I got their osmanthus tea with cheese foam. I would say this tea flavor is one of the top ranked out of all the bubba tea places I visited. Tea is definitely pure and not super strong. Some down side about this drink is that I got 30% sugar but I would still say this is still kinda sweet(ya, I wouldn’t want no sugar for sure) The cheese foam was sweeter than I would preferred. But this wouldn’t be a huge problem because it’s just the style of this shop and I respect their recipe. every other aspects of this cheese foam is fantastic. Texture is perfect!
The use of kiosk for placing the order is definitely a turn down for me because for any first time customers, kiosk does not provide a personalized experience. There’s definitely a learning curve for this shop and their menu. Using kiosk was traumatic. However, the manager and barista were extremely friendly and...
Read moreRecently my favorite milk tea brand in NYC! I have tried TP milk tea and Taiwan classic milk tea with boba, QQ noodles, and jelly grass. Both of them are so good and impressive. Taiwan classic milk tea includes three toppings and is in a black tea base. To rank them personally: QQ noodlesjelly grassboba. QQ noodles are so unique compared to other milk tea shops. It is chewy but it is in a string shape making it taste very special. The black tea base is very mild and smooth and it balances very well with creamer.
TP milk tea has a very strong tea flavor in a tieguanyin base, I didn't add any toppings since I wanted to taste the milk tea itself. 30% sugar is enough for me and 15% will be better. If you prefer a strong tea flavor milk tea, you should try it!
The ambiance of this shop is very modern, clean, and neat. There are a lot of tea cups in an orderly array on the wall which looks like an installation art. I can feel a strong tea culture through this wall design. The service is normal and nothing special. Every staff has their duty to finish and they are all very productive...
Read moreI'm a regular customer of TP TEA and I like to treat myself to a drink every weekday. Today, I was really looking forward to my Boba Milk Tea with extra boba, but unfortunately, the employee added a lot of water to my drink because I asked for no ice, making it tasteless. I usually ask for extra boba, but it seems like I'm receiving less than other customers who didn’t get extra boba. I always use the kiosk to order my drink and they asked you if you want regular ice, less ice or no ice, why ask if you don't follow it? When you get less ice, they add a lot of ice and when you get no ice they will add a lot of water to your drink. It was a pretty disappointing experience, and I don't think I'll be returning to TP TEA anytime soon. They've lost a loyal customer like me, which is...
