After completing an MRI and CAT scan, I came back and found my locker fully open, clothes and personal items fully exposed, although I closed and locked it before leaving for the two tests. Who came in and opened it? Why didn’t any staff try to safeguard my belongings. Some money was missing from my wallet; not a large amount. The manager did not respond appropriately, was not concerned about my belongings, the security of their lockers, my feelings about this invasion of privacy. This disregard fueled another patient having nothing to do with what happened to yell at me. This is not a site I would revisit. If you can’t safeguard patient’s belongings, and don’t care when the system you set up failed, you don’t care about their health. Everyone I encountered at this site exhibited the manager’s negative attitude. Yes we are here to do our job. But we’re not concerned enough to tell you anything. I was never escorted, just told to go down halls and turn right or left, find where I was going on my own in an office I never visited before. I had an MRI, was given no way to speak to the technician, not told how long it would be, not informed with each study how long and how much more we had to do. I had a CAT scan, too; same thing—left me in an uncomfortable position for longer than the 5 min he said at the start; didn’t tell me when we were finished or that I could relax. Other radiology settings don’t do this. They talk you through. They cater to the ostient’s Needs. The manager doesn’t care and so neither do the technicians, the...
Read moreI had an MRI done on June 16, 2014. The poor rating is not about their service but about their billing. The procedure itself was fine, the tech was friendly and helpful. I had been referred by a Doctor and was told the MRI was fully covered by my insurance. When I arrived I was told that I did not have to make any payments.
Yesterday I went to check my PO Box which I do every 7-10 days. I found a $75 bill from them labeled "FINAL NOTICE." The bill is dated 10/8/2014, though it could not have arrived any earlier than about 11/7-11/10 which is the last time I checked. I have not received any prior mail from them, or any other form of communications.
I called their billing number twice, each time waiting on hold at least 10 minutes. Eventually I went to their web site. Once I entered my account I found two information windows. One, labeled "History" shows the date of my procedure, and shows a balance of $0.00. The other, labeled "Current activity" shows a single line that says "SENT TO COLLECTION AGENCY WITHIN LAST 30 DAYS" with a balance of $75.
I have had this problem before with other medical services firms. These idiot companies just kick you out to a collection agency, who may or may not make an effort to collect the money, and will then report you as delinquent and in collections to a credit agency.
These jerks will not even blink an eye about screwing up your credit. I sincerely hope their business fails and they all go bankrupt and find out first hand how unpleasant it is to be on the receiving end of bad...
Read moreI arrived to my appt early and was told that id need to wait a half hour because they were running behind. It is 2 hours later and ive still not been seen. When i checked in a long the way i was not given info about how long the further delay would be. If i had been given that info id have rescheduled. this has impacted my ability to pick up my kids and has cost me additional money to manage a last minute sitte . No one was responsive at the center. Update: when i was finally seen, the tech was great. But the practice didnt consider her needs. She had been non stop all day. No breaks and trying to catch up all day. The practice had 2 rooms that could do mamos and didnt offer an additional tech to support her or the backlog of patients. The doctor left right on time at 5pm. How nice for her. Thats when i expected to be leaving too. Thanks for the generic "we want to make things right" post below. Manage your practice with some thoughtfulness about the impact on patients and staff. Be honest about wait times, staff up appropriately based on what types of services are scheduled and setting realistic time frames to them (ie: a screening with no implants takes less time than a diagnostic with implants. Dont schedule 15 min for both). The scheduling is clearly based on a revenue projection, not on patient need or the practice's ability to provide good care. Terrible way to treat people...
