wife review Parsons alumni here! I transferred in 2014 as I wanted to attend school back in Europe to be closer to family. I loved my experience at Parsons, unfortunately the city and school is a huge expense but that does not take away from the experience and networking opportunities I got . There are plenty of workshops and activities outside of the regular schedule. I took many live drawing classes, and even drew Coco Rocha live when she was pregnant with her first child! It was a great door opener to other schools I wanted to attend in Europe. I went for Architecture and studied with a dual degree BA/BFA with Eugene lang (politics). I did get a small Dean's scholarship but I wish there were more financial support opportunities for financial students. I was able to secure a job on campus as well but being at a design school full time + a job was extremely tiring. Great experience though, with pristine buildings, access to all tech and tools we need, as well as extremely knowledgeable tutors! I do not understand why some people would leave a 1...
Read moreI pay a crazy amount of money only to have two online classes this semester. I donât pay for zoom university I pay for parsons. Never mind the fact every single one of my finals weeks have been canceled due to protests and strikes. I spend hours and sleepless nights creating projects that never get seen. Spent my first year doing pointless classes because they want us to explore our options as artists. During this exploration I decided I want to be a fine arts major instead of illustration. But heyâŠthey wonât even let me change my major. Go here if you want to get a degree in mental breakdowns and student protesting.

The secuirty guard held me for over ten minutes because apparently A.) my student ID that I have used everyday without a problem for the past two years wasnt scanning right on his stupid little school issued Ipad and B.) because I am no longer an 18 year old as I was in the picture I was told I look nothing like my photo. What kind of...
Read moreCanât pay its PTF. University is shut down and students havenât been in class in 3 weeks. The Administration lies and fabricates false financial reports. They are bringing in 3rd party âeducatorsâ (who are not well versed in the art world) to grade students since faculty are on strike.
The Old School administration hired an anti-union law firm to crack down and terrorize the Union. A truly regressive, backwards-thinking University management team.
School cannot manage their financials. They are probably going to go bankrupt but can somehow still afford to pay its President $1M+ and pay for his $14M+ townhouse.
The Administration LIES AND LIES AND LIESâ and thinks that the Students, Parents, and Faculty canât see through the fabricated narratives.
Administration took MILLIONs in tuition money in the three weeks that school hasnât been in session.
Everyone is outraged at the Administration. So many students are transferring out of the University.
The Old School has threatened a 50% increase in tuition from its already hefty...
