Personal Touch Home Care — Local services in New York

My parents have been under Personal Touch Home for almost 8 months. My father was receiving wound care treatment from the visiting nurse - Angelina. Angelina is very professional, attending, knowledgeable and courteous person. She is always available on the phone and responds to our calls promptly. Angelina works with the team of doctors, updates them with progress of treatment and makes sure that my father gets all necessary medicine, supplies, and therapies. Both of my parents also get physical therapy services from PT Mark Blatteis. Mark started visiting my father when he was a bed-ridden and under his professional care my father gained his strength and began to walk! Mark was our first choice when my mother was in need of PT. We are very grateful for services my parents have received from Personal Touch Home...

They hire unprofessional people or the agency that they use is very unreliable and organized. My mother was to have care from 1 to 5.

Day 1: the aid came late with no gloves or equipment. She then decided to leave after an hour after I had to provide gloves for her to help

Day 2: No show called the office telling them of the case. Said they would send someone new.

Day 3: they did show this time did have an AMAZING aid named Theresa

Day 4: No show they called out sick and said they never set a replacement

Mind you this whole time she is only scheduled for 5 days and then bas to reapply and insurance covers only a certain amount a year. This is not the care you want when you are looking and expecting service and assistance for your mother to feel safe and have your...

this job deserves 0 stars the staff are beyond rude and i missed a whole month of pay because my coordinator didn't feel like doing the paperwork . very unprofessional and they hire a lot of unprofessional people. I wouldn't even want my own grandmother to use this company i convinced most of my patients to switch to other companies and don't get me started on the wait just to call a worker they want you to travel all around new york for 4 hour cases and get mad and try to push cases on you only apply if your desperate for the money (low pay btw)(because the...
