Iâve come here multiple times. The security guard is always extremely nice and goes out of his way to welcome customers with a positive attitude. Iâve never had a negative experience with any workers until today. I was really disappointed with my experience at the Rockefeller center location. The staff were not friendly atâall in fact they were downright rude and made it feel like we were bothering them just by being there. I visited with my daughter, She was eating ice cream in a cup. I was told there was no food allowed inside which I understand, so I asked her to stand near the door, but the staff insist in a rude way that she needed to be completely outside.
The way we were spoken to was uncalled for, and I will never go back to this location. If you have kids, I would not recommend bringing them here. The staff are not friendly toward childrenâs, which is strange considering they sell items that are clearly appeal to kids. You would think theyâd want family to feel welcome, but that was not the case.
If youâre looking for a better location, go to the one in Hudson yard. The staff are...
Read morei was asked to open my bag upon entering the store, so i did. then the employee was commenting about what was in my bag, as if iâd stolen the items. then two white guys walked into the store, and one of them had a huge backpack. she didnât ask to see inside the backpack. whenever i looked at her, she was looking at me like i was gonna steal something. to the point where i felt super uncomfortable and left without buying anything, even though i was so excited to go because i love sanrio. whoever that redhead employee was at least try to be sneaky about it if youâre gonna be racist. EDIT: yes, i did have this experience at this location, this was in september 2022. i donât appreciate...
