I used to order from Black Seed in Rockefeller Center almost every day when I came into work. However, my recent experience was terrible. When I placed my order and inserted my card, the cashier informed me that the payment didn't go through. I checked my card and showed her that the payment had been deducted from my account. Despite this, she insisted that I try again. As a regular customer, I was annoyed at having to pay twice, but I complied and inserted my card for the second time. That's when things took a turn for the worse.

The cashier, for some reason, took offense to my reaction and started yelling at me, telling me not to give her "that look". She even went so far as to say that she didn't care if I reported her to her manager. I was shocked and appalled by her behavior, especially since I had been a loyal customer for some time.

Although I still love Black Seed's bagels, I won't be going back again. I'm afraid that this incident will cause the same cashier to tamper with my food, which is a risk I'm not willing to take. Overall, the customer service was terrible, and the cashier's behavior was completely...

I asked the cashier two questions about the spreads because I was wondering if there were fruit cream cheeses & then I asked if there were different types of jams. All he said was no to the first question (understandable not a big deal) & then told me ā€œto look at the menuā€ for the jam question even though the menu only says ā€œjam.ā€ After that I ordered & I spoke clearly ā€œ1 plain bagel with plain cream cheese and 1 everything bagel with plain cream cheeseā€ & he got frustrated with me & started being condescending. While there were a lot of people waiting for their bagels, there were only 2 people behind me in line waiting to order. I was trying to be concise & as a former food service worker, being concise makes the order go quicker. Instead, he was treating me like I was stupid. He told me ā€œokay you need to tell me what bagel you want & then the spreadā€ which is exactly what I had done in the first place. When I ordered it to his liking he was still being condescending through the process. It was my first time here & I was disappointed by...
